Except all you did was make basic suggestions, and breaking through a line of people camping a base isnt as easy as "'Bamg' and the dirt is gone". This thread was dead, you missed the "the solution is obvious, you're just stupid" phase. So I have to ask :
"Did you use your head one tiny bit?"

Why u ask rhetorical questions

Not sure I'd say this thread is dead, I'm (and probably therefore others) am still getting stuff out of it...
The PvP thing has been on my mind for a while. One of the reasons I love CoX is because of the relaxed friendly atmosphere. I also play Battlefield 2 which gives me a pretty good pvp fix. But I made my first nervous visit to Sirens Call about a week ago with a group doing a mission. While waiting for the guys to arrive at the mish (hovering above roofs) I got Assass Striked by a cloaked Stalker and fell to the deck managing to stumble into the mission and relative safety. This was actually quite exciting, warning the team (who I think ignored me - next guy came in half dead too) and forming an exit strategy for after the mish. But having seen what one cloaked Stalker can do and reading about others experiences (this thread in particular) I promptly went and made myself a Stalker with PvP in mind. He's only lvl3 or so, but it's so far a lot like a scrapper.

Anyway, now I've half a mind to delete him as there seem to be so many and its taking a lot of the fun of the game away from a lot of people. I enjoy the idea of playing WITH people, not just beating people. So should I delete him? Or turn him into the 'Honourable Villain'?

'Honourable Villain' tends to meet up with 'Anti-Hero' who spits on your corpse.

This is going slightly offtopic, but I'd say don't delete it, if you think playing stalker would be fun. You're fully entitled to having fun playing in this game, don't let others spoil it. I also made a stalker after the event, and I intend to play it all the way to 50

Stalkers aren't that overpowered, as has been said before. Having stalkers there actually creates the exciting sensation of cold waves up your spine when you enter a PVP zone

Thanks! I've got a MasterMind and a Brute anyway, so if I enter a zone toppers with Stealthed Stalkers I can always just switch...

Like the idea of one on one call outs!

Right...I just feel the nausea welling up in my gut where a game of skill is turned into a game of luck.

My favorite quote of Obi-Wan Kenobi: "There's no such thing as luck".
