Meh I pretty much follow these rules.
They are both compatianate and stern.
@If someone is having a 1 v 1 kill em. Its open PvP is it not? Esspecially put the pain if they start whining at you.
@If you see someone be it villian or hero looking like theyre going to die vs a PvE mob help them out.
@Dont be put down by all the trash talk that flys around certain zones. If anything tbh it makes me stalk and kill em. Very bad idea..
@Drone tping/Running towards th drones. Without wanting to drail the topic, these really do my nut in. Why are they in there? I can understand in the hospital and 10 metres around the hospital. But really were fighting for control of a zone, why cant I push them back and capture their base?!
@I have never got a really good explanation of what is greifing, therefore I tend to think it changes from player to player. The moral being, if your accused just shrug it off.
I dunno PvP ettiquete (Now thats a hard word to spell) is really complicated.
I will say, I dont buy all this "Zomg you killed my m8 we was duelling!11!" stuff.

When pvp first started off in these zones, drones still gave you debt. So cue much weeping and gnashing of teeth with general chaos ensuing around drones. Take away debt from drones, and then you have stalkers entering the hero hospital wantomly killing with glee. So make more drones, and make it possible so they see stalkers! Whee!
This is where we are now. While I'd like to see actual winnable objectives, not just some progress bar resetting when it gets too far to the left or right (no badge? no SO? no message? no nothing, apart from the control of some temp powers?), this is probably the best setting for pvp right now, untill the new 40-50 zone comes out and a good deal of the regulars come along.
Wormholers and runners will always exist, since it is a viable strategy. RUN AWAY! or THROW YOU INTO THIS ELECTRIC FENCE, bwha! kind of thing.

I disagree, but then again you knew that.
I do however think that some how they need to incorporate and old abandoned arena of sorts so Heroes vs Villians can have 1 vs 1 etc.
Its an open PvP zone.
They know the risk.
The offender is placing himself at risk by stalking/attacking them anyways, therefore deserving a kill.
Its not like theyre loosing anything.
Sorry for my unsympathetic view point.
I think L2 had a lot to do with this..

For all the huff and puff about it, there's nothing to stop duellers from a RP view or game point of view, aside from the occasional meandering soul who just wants to fight something, even if it means breaking up that pitched battle between two players with a group standing there, watching...
PVP can either be great fun or painfully boring / pointless right now, and a universal hate of stalkers, unless you play one, isn't enough.

if someones duelling in pvp its only bloomin polite to let them get on UNTIL they're done, most of the time its easier in pvp zones to do it, ALSO alot of people crash/freeze in arena, cuz its evil n bugged etc etc.......
if they announce it in broadcast or something, y is it a prob to just lay off the ganking until they're done, another thing ...... this doesnt mean the spectators aren't up for grabs ;D

I dont mind leaving duellers alone for the few minutes it takes then to fight. What annoys me is when a large group of players are all lined up to fight 1 after the other. Looks like i'l have to start being a little more evil

All about attitude and respect imo, I wouldnt interfere in a duel personally but then I have my self appliced ethics thatI adhere to but these are certainly not a pvp requirement 
That said if a group were watching and I knew them, I would probable drop down and start killing them and we would all have a laugh about it, its often not what you do but how you do it.

I would also not interfere with a 1 on 1 if I knew that they were duelling, only because I would not like to be interefered if I was having one.
Even then, I would only challenge someone to a duel in a PvP zone if there was some doubt whether they would turn up to the Arena.

So this includes killstealing? Its not like I dont expect people to killsteal from me, I just want to know whether its generally accepted or not.. I know that several people dont like it. I dont mind myself either way, really.

It just seems unfair that when the numbers are uneven, and someone offers the idea of duels (they normally happen before logging off from all sides occurs) that someone will come along, despite knowing what's happening, and disrupt, with the argument, 'it's PVPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE'
I've been to arena once or twice. No one is in there, looking for someone to come along and duel them. I don't know how to enter arena matches, and I'm pretty damned sure that I can't fight villians in arena either, and I'll be damned if I sit down in Talos Park trying to explain to the one person how to do it.

And then there's just times when everyone just smashes the hell out of each other, which I prefer to duels anyway.

I see plenty of misplaced prejudice here. All that the other person needs to do is accept the arena invite, and afaik they'll be teleported to the match even if they arent in an arena? Hmm im not sure, but at least it works if they ARE inside arena.
Open terminal, choose match parameters, click invite only, type /ai opponent, click start. Match starts if the other person accepted the arena invite. Isnt that pretty much how it goes? Im not 100% sure but its worth a try.
And yes, heroes and villains can fight against each other in arena.
