Totally already been pioneered by Unthing and I, last summer.
Spur of the moment thing as we both decided to make our 4th costumes beach wear and this prompted most of the SG to move to an Island near the Arena at Talos and boogy on down..
About 10 minutes later there was about 30+ toons there.
Probably helped that Posion VEINS was in the SG at that time too, so everybody listening to the radio turned up.
So yeah, should be sucessful. My beach wear is long gone though, got replaced by Elf-fox and then classy-fox.
Suppose i could reinvent it as it's almost summer (spring?).

I took part in a beach party on the US virtue server about april of last year, but that was held on one of the southern beach islands off Peregrine - a pretty good location as there are no mobs anywhere near there.

I've made a small list of what i need to get this organised.
What do I need?
- Security, 6-8 people
- Escorts, 4-6 people
- Photography, 2 people
- Medics, 2-3 people
- Competition organisers, 4-6 people
Job requirements:
Security:
- lvl 40+, scrapper, tank or blaster (high lvl).
- Outfit: black suit, sunglasses, men-in-black style
Escorts:
- lvl 32+, anyone with TP
- Outfit: blue-white suit.
Photography:
- No lvl requirements, but prefer 32+ (because of possible mob activity)
- system.req: high resolution graphics with all details and FX. Fast PC.
Medics:
- lvl 32+, defender or controller
- Ressurect power (Ressurect or Mutation).
- Awakens
- Outfit: white-green suit
Competition organisers:
- Lots and lots of influence youre willing to give away.

When you say suit do you mean swimwear?

two teams of 3 try to recall friend into the opposing teams goal.

we use a villain, Referee has TP Foe to start game then its use of knockback or anything else to get foe into goal.

not so sure about the other 'suits' that i mentioned, but i will experiment with nice looking outfits for the jobs and inform those that has the job on what kind of outfit to wear.
So nothing to worry about 'till you get a PM from me, if you applied for a job.
If you don't want a job during the event, and just want to visit...like most people probably will...then beach-outfit is all you need.

i've had this idea for some time, but need some oppinions in order to see if there's enough interest in doing this.
Plain and simple...it's a beach party.
So where's the beach in Paragon? On Talos.
IIRC the north-east part of the island, towards the smaller islands, has beach...Spanky's Boardwalk i think it's called.
The idea is pretty simple. It's just a get together situation to prepare for spring/summer.
You make a toon, or a cossie on one of your 20+ toons (because of the cossie-slots) that has 'beach'-wear (keep it clean and neat, no provocative stuff plz)
Men could come in bare-chest + shorts.
Women could wear bikini / bathing-suit like outfit.
Capes and auras are allowed. But no power-spamming.
We gather on the beach of Talos, swim around in the water there, talk and flirt. If someone figures out a way to bring along a beachball, i'll let you organise beach-volleyball competitions
I'll probably organise some sort of bathing-outfit cossie-comp with a few million influence as prizemoney...for the best individual, duo, group...or even the best SG designs (swim/beachwear). If there's enough people showing and enough influence-donors to get that done.
So...to sum it up:

Where? Talos Island (TPs/Escorts provided by me and friends)
When? Somewhere near the end of April
What to wear? It's a beachparty, so beachwear.
