Hey hey!! Crackin' site there Mr M!
I've been trying to make something similar, but don't have the luxury of fully fledged Flash, instead using SwishMax, which was all my wallet could afford. It's tough going though, so I know what you've been through!
Good job on the PHP stuff...very impressed! And the whole interface design is excellent...uncluttered, clean, stylish...very nice indeed!
Huzzaaahhhh!!!

And you too Fulcrum! I hope to catch up with you folks soon! -
Are you like one of those chameleon things...with independently movable and focussing eyes?
I find it hard enough controlling one keyboard and screen, but TWO?!?! At ONCE?!?!?
*faints* -
29th April?!?! Booooo!! I'm away to Prague that weekend
PS I'll still meet up with you sometime beforehand star, and give you some influence tho -

Myself and Imaginary dominating Sirens a few nights back, 2 Heroes vs 8-12 Villains.
Nothing quite like it.

Now I wouldnt call the fact that you were versus a number of lowish lvl experimental builds while popping copious amounts of inspirations dominating, or for that matter a funny story (guess its all a matter of personal humour), its a feat any can pull off with lvl 50 trays. Doing the same while relying on pure skill and empty trays could possibly raise a smile though.
Oh and I personally killed the two of you far more times than you killed me

Lol!

Visited warburg the other week for the first time and was being shown around the in-map missions by a SG mate. Got a couple of ambushes by a nice stalker duo team and we started throwing the trash talk around, as you do.
It was back and forth between us for a while, few kills here, few kills there, when a young blaster hero comes flying by and wants to join our hero duo.
We thought, that's cool, invite him and we play some more. After a few more minutes, still trash-talking the stalkers cos, well...you gotta really...my SG teamie has to leave so it's just me and this blaster.
We line ourselves up and brace ourselves for the next round of hero vs villain and what does he do, but sneak up behind me, power up, quit team and blast me to hell in the back!!!!
So that's it...I go hunting for him after a trip to the hossy, find him and call him a backstabber on broadcast...he has no honour...how can he call himself a hero blah de blah...all in jest, mind you...so the two stalkers come to my aid and it becomes a three on one gang-bang for the poor guy.
He loved it! -
I'm a bit concerned at all the requests for Rezzers and healers...exactly how much beer are we talking here?!
*strips down to his union jack boxers and ruffles his hair*
I'm there! -
Devs...any chance we could add a new Giant Monster for this event?
Great White Shark!

"britain man"

umm..you called?!
Great sketch there, keep it up fella!
EDIT: WOOHOO!! 100th post!! -
Believe it or not, Brit-Man (my second lvl 50) only took 120 hours to get to lvl 50, but I wanted to do it as quick as possible as I5 had been announced and my sheer invincibility was doomed!
And just so you're clear, that's without any powerlevelling...just I4 solo fire/fire tank hunting.
Atlas Park->Hollows->Boomtown->Terra volta->Brickstown->Crey's Folly-> then some mission arcs ->Rikti Crash site -> more missions -> lvl 50!!!
I actually got to lvl 41 in 90 hours, so could've easily hit 50 in less than 120, but I started doing missions and being, well...sociable after that instead of just solo hunting in Hazard zones.
Herding Freaks in Terra volta in the twenties, and Crey's Folly in the thirties - best fun i've EVER had with this game! Fun at the time, I might add, but I'm totally herded out now!
Now he's on about 250 hours, and I have badges and everything!
EDIT: forgot to mention, my first lvl 50 took about 550 hours, which was why I went for speed over content on Brit -
Mucho Grats!!
In case you don't remember me...I'm Safe and Sound
Mineral next then, ey?! -
oh no...now i'm being swayed...maybe I should pick it up. To be honest, experimenting with hero planner, there's nothing of much use to pick up elsewhere at 32...may as well take it and try and make it work for me!
-
Cheers for the reply...something tells me I'll not be taking this power then!
-
Quick question...Hibernate...the lvl 32 Ice Tanker power...what happens to your taunt powers when you hibernate?
For exmaple, does Chilling Embrace still taunt them or if you taunt them then immediately hibernate, does the taunt still hold so they're just hitting an invincible block of ice?
Or, conversely, do taunts just disappear and the mobs start aggroing the teammates? If this is the case, what is the point!?! -

IIRC MA gets teh high acc buff because the attacks are all single targets except dragon tail which youdont get till lvl 35. Also their are no buffs with the moves all you get are a little knockback and dissorient no funky defense buffs or acc debuffs.

But isn't a good disorient (such as Cobra Strike) the same as 100% defence? It does minimal damage, but then again so does Parry, and slotted for disorient duration, I bet it could last longer than Parry's defence buff...I'll have to try test that tonight.
Also you get Crane Kick's awesome knockback at lvl 8 whereas with a sword you'll have to wait till lvl 26, so you NEED the defence powers like Parry. As I said above, if you take Air Superiority at 6, then Crane Kick at 8, you can pretty much have perma-knockdown on a nasty boss from then onwards. Which, defence-wise, is a lot safer than relying on the defence numbers of Parry. Better to an enemy on his butt not able to attack you than taking the chance he might.
And if I STILL haven't convinced you to go MA, you get Focus Chi, which is a self-damage buff, a lot like Build Up, but lasts a lot longer than the sword version. IIRC the buff isn't quite so big, but you can get a lot more attacks off in your chain that benefit from it, so it works out better.
Not that I'm biased or anything!
So...you still here?!?! Go make your MA/Regens! EVERYBODY!! -
I've not currently got a katana scrapper, and it's been a long long time since I tried one, but I've got a braodsword/regen and every time you fire off a regen power such as Reconstruction, you sheath your sword and have to unsheath it again. That annoys me! I'm presuming it'd be the same with a katana sword, though correct me if i'm wrong!
So, I canned that scrapper and went back to my lovely lvl 40 MA/Regen, who doesn't have that problem. Plus with MA I get to use Air Superiority without sword redraws, which is a very handy power to have until you get your AoE kick, Dragon's Tail. AS+Crane Kick+Dragon's Tail = perma knockdown for a nasty boss.
Therefore...I'd go MA with Regen. -
I have it 2recharge, 1 def at the minute...but I've been sneaky with my empathy defender and respec'd out of the fort slots and put them in my attacks instead. Makes life a little easier for me, and no-one is any the wiser.
I found that if you give someone fort, they're not going to know whether you've got 3 +def in there or whatever, as long as they see the shiny red glow, they're happy enough!
At some point I'm of course going to put the slots back, but in the meantime I've slotted up cosmic burst to great effect. Maybe at 40 or 42 I'll stick the fort slots back in there like it used to be, 2 rec, 2 def, 2 tohit.
Does that make me a bad person?
