Best Solo Build?
Out of those, propably Ice/kin
Oh, and rad is not really a team-set, not any more than those two at least.
i am finiding ice/kin quite good in teams and solo tbh. and come on who does not love kin
I have an Ice/Kin and it is fantastic ... I really would consider Rad/Rad as well if you're thinking of soloing. Both are great soloers but manage it in very different ways.

you into the world
Ice/Kin has great single target damage, 2 holds, a powerful heal and, later on, a powerful endurance gain power that will rid you of such worries for the rest of your villains career.
Add to this that you will still be popular on teams for making a single selfless addition to your build: speed boost. Just for those rare occasions you might need to team

Ice/Kin is a total winner solo and really great for teaming too. Definatly suggest this one, so much fun. Can take down bosses/EB solo without too much trouble.
Thx for all the fast reply's guys, seems Ice/kin is a winner here, solo and in group. And i guess its true, kin has some awsome groupbuffs aswell as great selfbuffs, think iam gonna go with that.
1 more thing, u think there would be a even better then this build, ignoring the 4 options i gave in my first post?
Any clue's?
Thx in advance,
Varath
Ice/rad and ice/dark could propably be better, depends on situation though.
i have 2 corrupters that i solo with all the time only on difficulty 3 though.
they are Dark/Rad and Ice/DM
the dark means i can not be bothered in melee since they have reduced acc, the ice keeps them away anyway, also dark gets a sniper attack at like lvl 6 or something silly like that lol so its really easy to pull only one.
Sillier than that, darks snipe is available at level 2!

I was over on the US forums and saw a post that reminded me ice/dark was one of those super popular combos like dark/fire brutes (for double consumption).
Ice/dark has some nice attributes, such as an extra hold in dark, giving 3 total (altho most omit bitter freeze ray on account of its long activation time and long recharge, leaving you with 2 good solid holds), cone fear from dark, and nice AoE combos with tar patch (slow and -res) and ice storm/blizzard (slow + hefty damage).
Again it can bring a lot to teams, and should solo very nicely as well, altho you might need to tweak your build more to make the most out of whichever you engage in more often.

I have a fire/ice corruptor which shore can deal alot of damage slow enimes the lot the oinly problem his in ice power set is the shield which can only be used on team members so that a bif disadvantage defoo if u wanna solo
i have an ice/kin its great solo or in a team i like this build a lot Fulcrum shift and blizzard work great together i use stealth to get close as i can to soak up all the power
Fulcrum shift doesn't affect Blizzard, yet anyway. I gather damage buffs such as those from fulcrum shift should carry to 'pets' (summoned entities) such as Blizzard when i7 is introduced.

My Fire/Rad soloes very well, right from the start. Pulling with the Rad Infection AE debuff, using terrain to bunch the enemies up around me, I can then use the fire AEs to kill everything. I've taken down 9 minions (3 spawns) simultaneously like that. AE debuffs + AE damage = fast soloing. Single target damage is good too with Blaze and Fire Blast.
In teams my heal is a bit rubbish, but everyone likes Accelerate Metabolism

blizzard isn't a pet, summoned entity? its an AoE attack and as far as i have noticed it gets stronger with FS

It's classed as a summoned entity by the game mechanics - it's not buffable by anything yet, so that Fulcrum Shift you think is helping, isn't doing a damn thing (other than debuffing the return fire).

"that Syn is that that" - Mothers Love
Powers that affect an aoe for a time, such a Blizzard, rain of fire etc summon an invisible, invunerable, and untargetable pet, which then generates the effect as an aura. As a result such powers are currently unaffected by any buffs.
I really should do something about this signature.
Hi folks,
First post here, greetings to u all
I've been checking these and US corr forums for a few days now but still cant decide what build would be best for me , solo is my main thing, tho iam not totaly afraid to group.
My current char is a MM Undead/DM , so i prefer not to take */DM in my corr build again. Iam thinking off the next builds :
- Ice / Kin
- Ice / Cold
- Fire / Cold
- Fire / Kin
- Maybe something with Rad ? tho its more a group set not?
Outta these, what would be the best one for solo?
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated
Regards,
Varath
