thoughts on phase shift for a merc/traps mm?

I can get this power now having taken stealth and grant invis (great for keeping your medic alive)

I know it lasts only 30 seconds but it might be handy for surviving the aggro I get from time to time.

Thoughts?

4 second activation time, 30 sec duration, not worth it if you ask me.

When Patron Powers appear, PFF may be available. If so, I'd get that for this particular purpose. How long does Phase Shift take to charge?

Why should that matter?

Blasters can take PFF through Force Mastery, and it's available as a Controller secondary...

OK, I know what you mean, about it being available to a MM already, but since we don't know exactly how Patron pools are going to work, it's entirely feasible that they could end up being implemented in such a way as to allow 'cross fertilisation' of secondaries to a minor extent.

If the PPP's work by just giving a generic PP to all AT's for that patron, and one of them includes PFF, there's no reason why it shouldn't be available, or a valid choice.

Whether it will or not, that's another matter entirely.

Tis why every char i had with it on i respec'd it out, when a toggle it was a fun and sometimes useful power, now its not worth it. By the time it actually activates your probably dead if you need to use it, so dont get it

I had it on my robots/traps MM, unfortunately the activation time & your total squishyness means that when you think maybe you should use it, you're already being carted off to a Basic Reclaimator .

I respecced it out.
