The proper response to the stalkers remarks is to find the offending party and splatter him all over the nearest wall. Then maybe petition him.
Warburg IS a free for all, but that's not to say you can't have private battles in any of the PvP zones you just have to think about where to have them (ideally somewhere out of the way) and not be too upset if someone turns up and ruins things.
The arena is available is you want to ENSURE you wont be disturbed.
Unfortunately I'm finding the PvP zones increasingly cliquey and as a result my interest is waning.

I actually did splatter him, which surprised me greatly as he was lvl 40 and I am 30. I didn't bother to petition though (is there any point?). He was put straight on ignore though, if someone cant speak to me in a civil manor I'm not interested in anything they have to say.
I've seen lots of people doing this in Warburg. They need to bugger off to the arena if they don't want to be interrupted.
IN MEMORIUM OF GAYBABY
CRUELY TAKEN FROM THIS WORLD WHILE SO YOUNG
Just a pity that the idiots who do things like this in the game, dont' tend to be the sort of people who bother with the forums (what with all that difficult typing and stuff).
Its a sad state of affairs at the moment in the pvp zone (IMO) where it seems most of the old regulars with whom we all had a rapport with have started on new alts. As such the zones seems to have seen an influx of people who are intent on swearing and moaning on broadcast all day long. Seriously, its a game, if you dont enjoy it or get upset to the extent that you just have to [censored] and swear dont play.
I just dont enjoy the zones at the moment to the extent where I am building up a pvp alt on union. The sadest thing is that it is just a small minority which sours the experience for everyone there, indeed there was about 20 in sirens a few weeks ago and one insane miscreants foul mouthed rantings (at everyone, hero and villain) just killed the mood for all.

you tell them to start walking to the arena and waste them all one by one. And if they too many for you give me or any of the regulars a shout and we come waste them all together.
Seems to be more mouthy players over the last few weeks. Last night some guy sat in his base behind all those big guns and proclaimed himself the best at pvp in the game while shouting rude words.

If this was on defiant then I think most know who he is, we usually have to get our heroes confused to lay a much deserved smackdown on him as he either just stays in base swearing or waits for us to ignore him then comes and killsteals, if its on union it sad that all servers have a jerk like this.

He is a bit Little looking too....
yeah its a shame that these people populate the pvp zones, sure they are in the pve zones as well, but you dont really notice em that much. PvP brings the worst out of people and it is exactly this kind of players that keep me out of the pvp zones lately unless some of my pvp regular mates are in there which is a shame really.
Yes, those people in bases proclaiming theyre the best in pvp are a tad bit annoying, yet extremely funny when you decide to just take him down behind his own walls/turrets (and succeed of course )
"god, how many devs did hami have to sleep with to get ED?"
Total Cat @Stagefright
Hate to say it but there are one or two people hanging around warburg at the min who have very foul mouths and who like nothing better than to try and belittle you.
Best thing is to ignore then.
Remember never argue with an idiot .. he'll just lower you to his level then beat you with experience.
Defiant's GoEH/MILITIS METUS
I reckon, with Recluses Victory on the way, in that zone specifically there will be a great decrease in all of the egotistical 12 year olds who can only type in "leet", because the zone will accommodate the highest level players, who are experienced individuals who have reached this far with there characters and have a good understanding about the games mechanics and most of all, manners.
@SinghMC
Yeah Im avoiding pvp at the moment (and I feel bad, with me not there who is feeding all the poor villains ?? ) due to the amount of negative vibes floating around, but I guess it will all quieten down in time for my thousands of alts to reach pvp security level.

Why wasn't I informed?
Anyways, I've definately noticed a lack of regulars in the pvp zones but still meet decent pvp'er that dont go around bad mouthing everyone.
They'll always be around, the people who have no manners. Best thing to do is to learn how to ignore them and not to feed them.
Don't let one bad apple spoil what used to be fun for ya. Hope to meet ya in a pvp zone sometime
sadly most of the people in the pvp zones shouting abuse are mostly making up for the fact they are useless at pvp. had a big rumble against the french the other night in the arena and all went great, not a single bad word said. in fact most people were complementing each other. as i said i think this was due to the fact that we know how to pvp and have nothing to make up for.
The alt thing is kinda true for me and Pixie, we've started a new SG called Nuns with Guns!
Be warned, an influx (well 3) of ar/dev nuns will be hitting Siren's sometime in the near future!

Hey now, is everyone forgetting just how excellent a creative broadcast griping session can be?
That was only meant as a half-joke, really. When I used to go through Sirens Call, i'd always end up argueing or bickering with someone, either in broadcast, or in local. The thing was, it was kinda funny, and never personal. True, it got out of hand sometimes, but it was always part of the background banter until both the hero and villain teams equalised and the real fun began.
I did however get a little bored, as the teams started to swing so violently, from one side majorly dominating in numbers, to the other having the major upper hand in numbers. That was the main thing for me, I never liked to join in fights where we already outnumbered the villains by at least four heroes to every one villain... and at the same time, its pointless in a support-class controller like me attempting to fight against a team of villains on my own.
I may never have been a perfect PVP rolemodel, as far as conduct goes, but I never crossed the obvious line from in-game fighter to player-flamer. Now, whenever I think about going back into Sirens Call for an hour before I log off, I remember how certain people behave, and it just seriously puts me off. The repeated, constant jerk-like behaviour. The endless personal arguements. The deliberate spoiling of common player-to-player courteousy and sportsmanship. Without the ability to have a GM respond fairly fast to such things, the PVP zones empty and die fast.
If I ever manage to personally offend or deeply spoil the fun for anyone in my runs of SC, feel free to send me a PM here. Its not likely that anyone other than the defiant SC regulars will know me though. And for the Defiant SC regulars? If there is a lack of heroes, send me a tell (or get Afulia to send one of my alts a tell, through global), and i'll come help out
It doesnt look like we'll ever be able to flush out the idiots, no matter how much we gripe, grumble or slaughter them. The only people who can resolve this, are the GMs and the other authoraties...
Hello all,
I have to agree with the first 3 posts in particular. The PvP 'rules' saga has dragged on for ages & 'most' can agree that the zones are for all uses & that each group should respect what the other is doing. BUT go there for yourself & what you intended that day.
I feel like duelling some days, other days I hunt & attack all & sundry! And i will guard my decisions to the hilt.
I NEVER swear, bad mouth someone or spam broadcast with torrents of abuse. Someone makes a point to me, I reply by stating my case. They are then ignored, placed on Ignore and where needed, a petition is sent.
I petitioned an abusive player in PvE, I was told the matter would be dealt with & that I would not hear the outcome..... I'm happy too say I've not seen him since
Cliquey duelling in PvP is rife at the moment I'm sad to say, it IS spoiling it for the experience of others (just see the boards), I 'm happy to have it in the zones, just find somewhere quiet and DON'T get narked because someone else wants to fight however they please. But in Warburg of all zones!!!! I'm astounded, that's absolutely ridiculous.
All are invited to join me, (should the need arise) in hunting the rude heroes/villains to the ends of the Earth. I have no problem dying 50 times in 2 minutes. I just keep coming back I could get put off by the attitudes there at the moment but there are those that make it worth turning up! We comlpiment the others on a funny or a good kill and laugh about it later. The answer for us lot? Manners, simple as that.
I have fun in PvP, I'd like others to enjoy it too.

You've got guts, i'll give you that ! What am I ? The pvp messenger ?
I like it when there are a few heroes in SC so i can gank and flame them
Edit: typo
I haven't been in the PvP zones nearly as much as I would have wanted but I want to get a villain up to PvP because when ever I want a serious battle with the villains on my hero 9/10 times we out number them so im gonna try to even it out a bit or atleast have a villain waiting for when the heroes out number the villains.

Actually there was one time when i turned into a mad bull, though i tried to keep it civil on broadcast ( as much as i could ).
Now how much inf are you offering if i tell you how it can happen ? :P
It seems to me that, apart from players... The biggest thing lacking in PvP zones lately is manners. I was having great fun in Sirens a month or so ago, only as a hero though. So I decided to spend some time on a villain to see how life was, "on the other side". Having done that, and reached a level where I can enter all the current PvP zones, I find myself wondering why I bothered.
There just seems to be so much ego-flexing and foul mouthed ranting going on, it leaves an unpleasant aftertaste. The final straw was today, when I ventured into Warburg for the first time as a villain. I bounced around for a bit, and happened apon a few villains/heroes in what looked like a ffa bash. I jumped in and started trying to hit things, this being an all-against-all zone and all. The next thing I know, a stalker, who I have never spoken to before, tells me to "wee off", only with a p*** word instead of wee (you get the idea). Now, if an organised fight was going on or something, surely, "sorry mate, we're having a private battle here" or something, would have been much more polite. But I guess that courtesy and manners is too much to ask from the avarage "I'm hidden behind a monitor so I'm a big man" games player.
Thing is, at the age of 32, I can do without being spoken to like a skidmark on a hotel towel. So people, think before you type, manners cost nothing, and they make the game a more pleasant place to be.
I wonder if this is the reason GOOD PvPers like Stalk-obot no longer frequent Sirens... Sad.
Sorry if this seems like a rant, I just found myself feeling disappointed... It's actually put me off playing the game.
