If PvP is turning into poor tatics like this im going to stop PvPing. I have always enjoyed PvP untill people start taking it too far and doing "anything" to win. I wont be part of it. I hope this is last time we see things like this. I personaly like thay map also. I dont want to see it as a "Void Map".

I think the problem is not the strategy of the team but the map which is ways too small for a certain amount of players if one team has a bubbler. Definitively this office map needs a look.
Without kinetic it's just a [censored], invus should help but it truely isn't enough as they face the whole team protected by the bubble in the small room. You just have nothing to do but wait tp foe then die or do like shaman who was sitting besides the upstair.
It should be a good point if devs let players choose, on the arena game options, maps they can switch off if they don't want to play on.

I've only run into it a few times - I don't think it's a big a problem as some people claim - but it could be very off-putting for players new to PvP to have it done to them.

I thought the tactic was completely legitimate, to be honest. The power is only doing what the devs intended it to do, it's not like they used an exploit to make it more powerful or anything like that. I'm afraid this is just the nature of pentad, some teams do have unbeatable tactics since you often can't fit a kinetics on a pentad team. Granted, it might not be fun for you but if they're not exploiting then there's no problem.
Besides, I thought this was supposed to be the top-level PvPers getting together to improve ourselves? Surely it's better that the teams do "anything to win" to raise the overall standard of play even higher? I certainly would've stopped coming if all we'd done was walk over everyone on the first night. The reason I enjoy it so much was because we did lose to the french guys by some insane amount in the first few matches we fought. Throw any tactic you want at me, all it means is that I spend the next week thinking of a counter for it and then coming back stronger. Surely that's the point of this whole thing?

ROFL how on earth is that tactic gonna improve anybodies PvP skill? if u can come up with a counter for that with the team we had then i applaud u and will bow down to u.
The point is this is not a tournament or a league and was never set out to be, it has always been a fun get together to fight people who aren't on the same server, this certainly was not fun for us and i fail to see how it cud be remotely fun for them? it was not using any form of skill so neither team cud take anything away from it, the stupid thing is with a bubbler in the office u have a huge advantage and will win 9times out of 10 fighting so there really is no need to be a [censored] and sit up top tp'in ppl in
Personally, I'm quite happy for them to do it.
Just wait til i7 when everyone has a respec and brings a team specifically designed to beat it. Then they wont have any fun at all.
Also, i very much doubt that this "best pentad team around" would beat us on an open map with our regular team.

I put tonights poor show down to it being a bank holiday. That said I also think if it had of been pentad more teams would have showed( its easier to get 5 than 8 )

Moreover I heard that there was some disappointement in a map because of the use of some powers.
I suggest that if a match start in this specific map and only in this map ( the trashed office), if one of the teams want to reset the match, it should be done.
If by any chance, the same map occured... Then play in it ! Even if it is the trashed office again. We should play not reset a map again and again.
This map is too small to give everybody the opportunity to enjoy properly some matchs so I suggest this simple and very specific rule. If you get this map you have one and only one chance not to play in it.
Only for this map which is definitelly too small (no possibility to detoggle by running away, and and over-powered repel effect there). The point is not to have the opportunhity to choose every map you want. The point is only to avoid this map (or tiny little room, should I say).
