Individuals don't have prestige, supergroups do 
The character which has earned the most in our SG has made about 400k if I remember rightly.
We swap toons in and out all the time so I have no idea. I do know hoever that MoX in total has earned about 17,500,000 prestige.
My personal total is just over 420,000 prestige as I created the group and thought it was hypocritical for me to ask people to be in supergroup mode if I hadn't earnt the most prestige

(numbers arent exact precise, but about the right amount +/- a few k)
my main has: 680k pres (most in VG, we got several ppl 400k-440k)
my total earning for VG is (all alts put together): 2.45 mill
VG total: 19.8 mill
I took Tech Tower to 500k. Next highest in the SG has 490k.
Ok I told him to turn off SGmode so he didn't overtake me 
I turned off gathering prestige at 500k. I liked the number. Think I'll turn it back on again.
Oh, in case anyone was curious: Tech Tower was a 50 since before CoV came live. That's how much I enjoy playing as him (and no, I don't know any exploits).

zor my Spines/da scrapper has 1.3 million
and the rest of my mains/alts have about 700ish
with my lowest at about 300
Up to about 700K on Kinslayer.
Could have added a total of 1.8 if I included my alts but we have a strict 'no alt' policy in place on our main VG so that's all gone to our alt VG.
Never used any farming and have earned very little prestige in the last 2 months as a result of alting. Think we're at the 7-8 mill mark at the moment.
Doubt it will go up much after I7 as we've inf stripped most of our mains to fund alts so won't be much SG mode play until after lvl 47.

I thought that too but one other person in my sg has managed to get just abit more than me - damn them, must try harder.
Mains got about 320 k worth although in total with other alts have amassed around 1 million in prestige.

Earning pressed cheese for the Villan side (atm) is a lot harder due to not having tons of 50's to fuel the low alts so they can perma stay in SG mode.- so its quite amazing really that a few Villan groups are WAY above some hero ones..

Not overly amazing, imo. Heroes lost a lot of people due to it being CoV year (no new CoH content for what, a year and a half?), and also to CoV itself. Take Max Powerz for example. He's a convert, he hardly plays heroes nowadays, all of his villains to into the same SG, and he drives his SG hard there to farm prestige for his base, including a very motivated recruitment drive.
CoHers are fragmented across a lot of SGs, and even though 50s can fund prestige on lowbies, it doesn't happen as much as you seem to think, especially with very few (overall) 50s accounts that are still actively heroes.
Plus CoH cliques tend to make SGs less inclined to push for new members, and harder for new people to get into old establised ones (barring the 1AT who are quite open). I think my SG has around 10 distinct accounts, maybe a dozen, and we don't recruit and do pretty well for a small SG I think.

yea.. even tho a lvl 50 would make alot more pres/hour than a lvl 20 villain, we actualy have a little more motivation.. playing a lvl 50 isnt as fun as a lvl 20, since th lvl 20 will earn XP and gain powers. im actually impressed that heroes can keep up.
Storm Warriors has an open recruitment policy too. Unfortunately it means we keep filling up and have to kick inactive members to make room for new people who want to join. Any character that hasn't been logged on for 25 days gets a nice e-mail explaining the policy and an invite to rejoin if the toon becomes active again. Its a bit upsetting for all concerned to be honest, I wish there was an unlimited membership number so that people at college or uni didn't get kicked by accident.
I'm not sure what the figures are, but we are at number 44 as of yesterday. I also am amazed and impressed at how many vg's are above us. Kudos to you people. As someone early in the thread said, its harder to fund a prestige only alt with the lack of 50's.
