  1. Bumpage. No-one has replied but I'd like to keep this fresh.
  2. My son has characters on Defiant, and he was stuggling a bit because of a shortage of influence. He's only young and just starting out his career as an obsessed, tunnel visioned uber gamer, God bless. I explained this and two players gave my son's character enough influence to see him right through to level 30. So I'd like to say THANK YOU to:

    Shodow Hanter

    and

    LONDONER

Very much appreciated, and if you are on Union anytime, look me up.

Sounds like a good idea, hope it takes off.

And everyone else who posted here, I hope you realise how badly it reflects on the forums when anyone new to the forums posts they immediately get shouted down over every little detail. I have found the forums to be very elitist of late and I hope this is a trend that will stop, or it will quickly become a private little clique.

Well said callista. I hope it goes well for your SG, you might find a more positive response from other forums.

Although only useable by high levels, they have been known to be traded for LARGE sums of influence. So slot it or sell it!
    3. A unique forum title right here on the boards

    7. Race. Have fun. It’s a game!

    The Rules Summary.

    1. Level 5 toons only.
    2. No Kheldians.
    3. No Speed buffs or Personal Forcefields
    4. Stop and wait if you get spammed with a speed buff.
    5. The spirit of the rules applies above the word of the rules.
    6. This is a test of skill, not a test of how well you can cheat or exploit the rules.
    7. The Judges decision is final.

    The Rules in Detail

    1. Contestants can enter with Level 5 characters only. Kheldians are not permitted. Siphon Speed or any other type of speed buff (Run excluded) are not permitted. Personal Forcefield is not permitted. All contestants must enter The Hollows via Atlas Park. The prompt before team teleport option must be disabled.
    2. Contestants must join the Gumball Rally SG for at least the duration of the race. Leaving the SG constitutes withdrawing from the race.
    3. During the race all contestants must be a member of a MoX led team. This is to allow us to keep track of player positions and to prevent the use of Recall friend. Leaving the team constitutes withdrawing from the race.
    4. Each contestant, upon reaching a checkpoint must speak to the MoX Marshall at that checkpoint(see rule 8). The MoX Marshall will then Promote the contestant to the next rank in the Gumball SG. The contestant must not proceed until he has been promoted.
    5. Anyone caught cheating in any way will be kicked from their team by the MoX Marshall. Cheating is construed as using ANY other power apart from inherent run and jump powers to gain an unfair advantage. Being the unwilling recipient of a speed buff by a non-competitor is excluded from this providing that the competitor halts immediately and advises his team leader. A time penalty will be exacted sufficient to counter any advantage that would have been gained via the buff.
    6. Should a competitor be defeated by a nearby mob he has three options. He can either wait for the MoX Marshall/MoX Nursey to clear the area of mobs and dispense an awaken OR be teleported back to his last checkpoint and be awakened OR should the Marshall/Nursey responding have the ability to resurrect or revive you with full hits and endurance he/she will offer the choice, a 20 second penalty will be applied to compensate for the stunned period suffered when using awakens. Anyone going to hospital in Skyway will be kicked from their team.
    7. Temporary powers gained from the Arena or any other source are not permitted. Any use of such powers will result in the offender being kicked from the team.
    8. Communication with the Checkpoint Marshalls should be in the form of a tell executed by either a target based bind/macro or by right clicking on the marshall and selecting chat. Tells received by contestants that the Marshall is unable to see will be taken as cheating and rule 5 will be applied. The message need only be “Promote me!” or something similar.
    9. The Spirit of the Rules will apply ABOVE the Word of the Rules. The Judges decisions are final.
  11. Seems odd, being a defensive tank, but if you explain your gamestyle it should not be a problem. We have a link up with a toon called Shalindra, she's attempting to get to 50 without levelling up, currently at lvl 14, so we're used to 'odd' player types. Look MoX up next time you're on.
  12. Nice 1. Gimme a bell ingame (@Raging Gunmetal) or make a post on our forums so we can set something up.
  13. Dark, I think Ronan is doing a test run tonite with Granite to make your base ready. I have set up an official match for next week Wed 5 July 20.00 BST. Ronan should be organising you lot, it's up in our forums and we expect to field a full team of 16. We can lend you some guys to even the teams if needs be.
  14. Christ almighty. Bridger, just lock this thread please.

    Kinslayer, did you read this?

    [ QUOTE ]
    1. If you are worried about email havesting, put a dummy email in.

    [/ QUOTE ]
  15. This is why we asked people to sign up to our forums, we've had six pages of debate about what we are doing. For the sake of clarity, we have a sign up thread on our forums that we can edit and ensure everyone can see everything at a glance, periodically either myself of Khorrighan will post up the Gumballs list.

Just to pick up on 2 points:

    1. If you are worried about email havesting, put a dummy email in.

    2. Myself and Khorrighan are spokespersons on this forum.

    Hope that helps.
  16. I know it's still bugged somewhat, but who is up for baserading? Severeal of our members want to get back into it. Please let me know who I need to contact ingame.
  17. Gratz Funzo, I left you guys last night and you had about 400K to go.
  18. Devs! More character slots please!
  19. Kinslayer,

I have deleted you account on the MoX forums.
  20. Already done that. We have a full list of rules n regs, we have been in corresspondence with Bridger on this, We've had 3 or 4 dummy runs to iron out any problems. This has been in planning for weeks, thats why we say look on the forum to see the full rules.

Of course we will do it OUR way, I'm sure if you were organising something you would do it YOUR way, so whats the difference, we have already taken advice from Bridger on this. Did you want us to show you our 'workings out' or present you with an event that has been well thought out, tested and reviewed to ensure it works. Give us some dues, we are no 2 bit gaming clan, we have organised stuff like this for years.

    EDIT
.... and TBH the level of agression that has been shown here against MoX makes me think that maybe it's not worth it. This is obviously a forum dominated by 1AT. So in the politest possible way, if you don't want it or continue critising we'll pull it and run it internally.

Just one question, who is the leader of 1AT, I think I need to talk to him / her.
  21. [ QUOTE ]
If it's a MoX thing, why are they posting this on the official boards?

    [/ QUOTE ]
It's not a MoX thing, it's us organising something for the whole community.

    [ QUOTE ]
If it's a public thing and if it's only for 'the fun', why are they taking subscriptions _only_ on their forums?

    [/ QUOTE ]
Because thats the way we can manage it, judging from previous experience, any threads organising anything here will quickly get swamped by spam / trollers / those who simply want to cause a stink because they can. We don't have admin rights and quite frankly why should we use an NCSoft forum for something we are organising, seems to me it's taking the mick a bit. So to answer your question, it's on our forums so we can make sure all those wanting to join, do. Think of it as a service.

    [ QUOTE ]
When the 1AT made public events (Easter Egg Hunt, beach Part-Ay and such) we posted here and let everyone see the subscription...

    [/ QUOTE ]
That is 1AT, this is MoX. You do it your way, we do it ours, MoX is an very established guild with 400+ members, our forums are used heavily, so it's only natural that we use them for this. Please don't start another MoX / 1AT [censored] competition. It's not about that, so why do you think it's a threat to 1AT, thats how your post comes across.

    [ QUOTE ]
I don't get the problems of taking subscription in here nor the need of them being in a separate forum.

    [/ QUOTE ]
I see the problem, even if you don't.
  22. OK it's easy enough for anyone with any forum knowlege.

    1. Click on the link
    2. Look for the 'Register here' link and click on it
    3. Sign up and wait for admin to validate your account, they are validated daily
    4. Once validated, sign in and post in the thread marked 'Gumball Rally'

Believe it or not, we are giving up a LOT of time and effort to do this for you, to make a fun event where we can have a laugh, Hell we're even giving away 3 million influence and making a movie of it. So please take it in the spirit that it is given, and if you don't want to get involved, then don't spoil it for those who have spend a long time putting this together.

I'm the leader of MoX, we don't do anything with emails, they are asked so you will get a reply notifying you when your account has been activated. If you are so pararnoid, here's a tip.

    Shhhhhh, don't tell anyone, but...

    *sideways look*

What you need to do as a Runner on The First Open MoX Gumball Rally

    1. Sign up for the Rally via the MoX Forum. Link is here.

  24. MoX are highly motivated, highly organised and focussed, we aim to be the best and to have as much fun as possible along the way. If this is the sort of gaming you want then read on, if it's not for you, then say hello when we pass you on the server.

Our focus is the MoX SG, in there we want active charaters, becasue of size restrictions we have satellite SG's housing other chracters. It works like this.

MoX : A place for the main character you are developing, maximum of two. Maximum level 39
    MoX 40 Allstars : For levels 40 - 49
    MoX 50 Allstars : Level 50's
MoX Avengers : MoX elite / hardcore players with lvl 50 charaters. Invite only.
MoX Alternative : All other characters

This is the way we can ensure a throughput of characters in main MoX as we are recruiting on average 5-6 players per week. We regularly play high level characters in order to earn influence for the MoX kitty, this is necessary to filter down to lower level characters. If a member registers on our forums, actively participates, and remains constantly in SG mode whilst in the main MoX SG they are eligible to recieve influence from our pooled resources in order to max out on enhancements at each level.

Ask any MoX officer or visit our website, www.mox.eu.com and register on the forums. MoX ia a multigaming guild with over 250 active members, so CoH maybe your home, but there are other avenues you can explore. We are a mature set of players with teamplay as our main principle. Because of this there is a minimum entry age of 18 and a 2 week trial before becoming a full MoX member. Once you are a full member, then you get access to the private forums.
