Had a funny PvP moment with Tailman earlier. Tail (a Blaster) had already gotton me a few times with his usual excellent tp onto caltrops and traps tactic which is guaranteed to give a girl a bad day. Anyway I was sniffing around him and a couple of controllers in the hotspot area near the Hero hospital when Tail caught sight of me and decided to pull it on me again while he was in the middle of a mob. Just as he does tp foe, a Tarantula engages him setting off his traps resulting in him tping a fully healthed stalker right smack next to him after his traps had detonated and while surrounded by Arachnos npc's. Needless to say I despatched him after a short fight. All credit to Tail though as despite being thrown off guard and being at a disadvantage he stood his ground and fought back well.

In the Arena
Cannon Fodder vs Also Rans, in the S4 competition. As a precursor to the tale, David Pyrons - our erstwhile Controller - had made it a personal crusade to get as leathered as he could before each S4 match, for good luck. Well, he might not have done, but that's certainly how it appeared to the rest of us. 
Halfway through the match, and with the Also Rans getting the upper hand for the first time, we managed to split Cannon Fodder up and chase them around the godawful cave map. I'd just taken down their Blaster, and rounded a corner to see two figures dashing past, followed by an array of pets of various sizes... so naturally, I followed. Turning the corner, I was greeted with the sight of Kaya backed into a corner, being wailed on mercilessly by a tribe of angry fire imps, with Pyrons weaving around and throwing in the occasional attack whilst Kaya's Phantasm and Decoy danced around playing grabass at the other side of the corridor. There's no sight quite like 12 angry monkeys leaping up and down on a defenceless controller to make you forget what the hell you're supposed to be doing.
In PvP Zones
Playing as Syn, I'd pretty much just logged into CoH in Sirens when a Brute on half a bar of Health blindsided me - I managed to get away, stacked Web Grenades, Caltrops, and Ignite, then Flamethrowered ftw. Being an AR/Dev, I'm not used to such easy kills, so I flew up to a nearby rooftop to do a /whoall of the zone... not 5 minutes later, the same Brute comes back, calls me the usual, and tries to engage me - so I flew just out of his jumping range. Damned if he doesn't keep jumping at me in the same position for the next minute, shouting abuse all the while. More than a little amused, I do what any sane AR/Dev would do - I click 'Sniper Rifle'. The ensuing shot drops him out of the air and away from the edge of the building, causing him to land in a heap on the road below. "omgz u cheeting *****, y dont u cm ere an fite liek a man u wimp??!!!!" Click 'TP Foe', watch him drop down to the ground again. "wwwwaaasssdwtff!"!2!!1" Still amused, but getting bored, I decide to go Stalker-hunting for fun and profit... but this guy just won't leave me alone - wherever I go, he's there within two seconds, effing and blinding. Getting slightly tired, what with a number of my targets leaving the zone , I toggle on Cloaking Device and go over to Hero Base to cash out for a couple of insps. "yeh run away u *****, ill kill u if u come outta ther," comes the cry from a nearby rooftop. As the diatribe continued, I flew up and above, and waited. "if i c u agen ill beat ur as-" was about as far as he got before he got taken off his feet, and away from the edge of the building onto the ground by another Sniper Rifle shot. Livid, he SJd back over the building, and back over in my direction... when his trajectory placed him right next to a Police Drone. At that point, I left.

Hehe, Syn's PvP zone post made me giggle a fair amount as it seem's very similar to what i experienced yesterday in Bloody Bay. 2 Stalkers trying their damned hardest to take me out, clearly not realising i could see them running in the water and moved when they came close, popped some yellows and opened fire on them.
The fact they were caught didn't impress them much as they began to get abusive and one in particular started ranting how his "Fifty" Scrapper could take me out, so i duely challenged him to a one on one in the arena within the next 2 minutes. Oddly enough he left the zone...

Funnyiest Moment?
well, me dancing ontop of one of the oil platforms near the villain base in sirens call. when *poof* some stilly little griefing stalker uses tp foe on me into a crabspider and some of his buddies (a boss version and minions..i think). Suffice to say, the stalker fled
Then! .. tried to TP Foe me into the arbiter drones..or was it near the guns? ..anyway, it was on the 1/2 downed ship near the villain base.
such a shame i think he did not enable his hero chat to see my taunts at his failed attempt at griefing.
Too bad he doesnt know what i tank can do

heh you just made me think of nother funny moment.. once there were 2 heroes and 2 vills in Sirens. A scrapper (i think) and me as Duke for the heroes and a stalker (as always...) + MM for the villains.
The stalker kinda gave up on me cause he couldnt down me even if he bribed me. So I think he kept going after the scrapper who was somewhere else in sirens. So that left me and the MM at villain base.
A nice 1 on 1 (well 1 on 7 rather.. but anyway..) you might say? Not by a long shot. After I almost kicked his [censored], he ran to the villain base with all his pets. When he finally reached the base he started to spam broadcast with how uber he is, blabla, that nobody could defeat him etc etc.
So I call to him (whilst standing in the water), I say "well come to the water and we will see who is the best around here". He replies I should get him, while he is safely in his base, on the far east side near the drones. Well after a while he just sends his pets at me while he himself is dronehugging. I did what every normal player would do, move out of reach so he has to leave his precious drones.
However the MM then just started taunting and smacktalking, saying im a coward etc etc. Starts saying that no-one can beat him again, bla bla bla. So again I say "well who's the coward? come here and fight, mano y mano and we see who is truly the best". Reply: "hah, no man can fight me here hahahaha, you are all pussies! Nobody is brave enough to fight me here!!!".
Upon this, I just move a bit to the west. The MM, standing on the wall surrounding the base follows me, therefore leaving his precious drones, and only guarded by normal turrets. Once more I ask him "brave enough to fight me outside your base?" upon which I got the reply "hah! you'll just run again! you're such a coward!! be a man and fight me hahaha, but you know I am so good I will kick your [censored]! You know why? cause im so good and no man is brave enough to fight me here!".
Poor guy... thought I'd show him a thing or 2 how nasty tanks can be. Just jumped straight at him, in his own precious base. Had some mobs shooting at me which I just used to activate energy absorption for even more defense. He started running like hell to his precious drones again, but this time I cut him short with air sup + ice patch + freezing touch. So I just proceeded to lay a smackdown on him 
At least the guy didnt have to walk far from the hospital... however he left as soon as he rezzed

hehehe 2 of my funniest PvP Moments:
Infurnus - Stone/Fire Tanker - lvl 50
fighting 2 stalkers a brute and a mastermind in Bloody Bay, they all started to scatter after 10 minutes realising it was useless, i chased after 1 of the stalkers who ran directly onto their island base and they grouped 2gether, thinking it was safe, then they saw me rising over the hills in granite armour being pummeled by the turrets surrounding me.
they ran down a thin corrodor lathered in anti-personal turrets with me chasing behind them, i ended up chasing them round the hospital amazingly past the drones without being spotted and up by the arachnos scientist with a tail of 12 troops, i killed a stalker, pulled out me newspaper then ran off laughing!
Moment #2:
Cryofurnus - Ice/Super Strength Tanker - lvl 28
Stood there in Sirens call in the middle of the city with only my Glacial Armour on, just so happens it also gives +perception, next thing i knew 4 stalkers surrounded me and went to use AS on me at the same time, so i grab my mouse and my team stood there clueless, and i clicked 1 power, power happened to be energy absorbtion draining 1/2 their endurance, interupting them and giving me +def, i knockout blow 1 guy, he died, other 3 try to run, i follow 1 onto a building and maul it out with him for a few minutes while the other 7 people on my team hunt down the other 2, twas a gd victory that day CHAMPIANO!

the best pvp for me was about a week ago i think, i just logged onto my MM which i hadnt played for ages. i was in sirens call already so i decided to investigate.
Their was 1 blaster out there so i spawned my [censored] ninjas to do some work next thing i know im held, another blaster comes along and im on the floor in seconds.
I decided to get payback so i gt my pets to stay in the open on aggressive and i went to hide. 5 mins passed and nothing so i went out, as soon as i gt out something hit me again and again, i was close to death but before i legged it out of there i held one of them and gt my pets to kill the other while i debuffed him as soon as he was dead i held the other again (who just gt out of my first held) and killed him this happened about 3 times before they left muhahahaha.
It was funny to me neways.
Just discovered the fun of telemining.
Have also discovered how much fun it is when Stalkers decide that the perfect time to try ambushing you is when you're standing in the middle of eight or so 3-DMG slotted Trip Mines.
Man go BOOM, fall down.

I got called into work on my day off, so I'm pvp-ing right now to work stress off, should be a laugh.
Had a fun session yesterday. Most of the time only one villain online (a hero SG-buddy), so we tested a little powers (being a scrapper it was kinda easy to wait out the holds and then kill the bloody corruptor ). Now and then in the friendly powertesting I heard the AS-sound and got AS:ed and killed. Really fun actually coz when this happend my friend turned and tried hard to get me killed.
Later on I battled with a brute at the half-sunk ship and lost, couple of minutes later (when going to log out) I notice the same brute standing still in plain sight, so I go in for the kill (and won). We decided to have a duel, met up at a location and telled eachother "ready" and the battle begin. Few seconds into the battle - AS - and I get a tell from the brute to run, instead I hit "Dull Pain" and go after the stalker (that flees). Get a tell from the brute saying "or fight, lol". We decide to get the duel going again and he gives me the chance to get Dull Pain recharged, I tell him "or not, rdy" and attack.. At the EXACT moment I get killed Dull Pain is recharged and I click it, a fraction of a second too late.
All of this was fun, no badmouthing in broadcast, no tells "we're duelling n00b!!!1", just plain fun.. If PvP was this way all the time then we would see more action in the PvP-zones..
This was only my 1½ cents, bad english - yes, not enough coffee in the morning - yes, incoherent description of events - surely, fun - absolutely!

Yeah, that was pretty funny. I don't think he knew what was happening to him all that time!
My funniest moment was being the first set of villains into BB on live, and hearing the Heroes argue on broadcast about whether we were actually there or not. One guy refused to believe we were there until we actually killed him! At the time, we couldn't reply to them since most people hadn't realised that you had to turn villain chat ON to be able to see it, so they just argued regardless of what we said!
Heh ok, I swear I remember hitting you on the ground though. As I remember you were immobilised and turned round to try and hold me or something. I think I may have used lunge though :-P
