Zhaan and Boomer (or Beatmaster Z and the Oonster), you peeps been part of my whole CoX-experience, you laugh at my bad jokes, laugh when I get killed, laugh when I get the whole team killed, well, you've been great buds and you're part of the small group off ppl that has made CoX a game I've been able to enjoy for more than 3 weeks, and I can understand why you're calling it quits, and I guess a big part of it (not mentioned by your post.. hmmm..) is the way I8 has made your chars bums HUGE!! I mean seriously, my DD def don't need to use tar patch, place one of you at a door and voilá, the mob is contained..

It's not gonna be the same without ya, but I'm having the same thoughts myself, it's not the same anymore.. Hopefully, ROs and ToGs will find some other mmorpg to enjoy, that would be great..

I really like invul as secondary, although it takes some time to get into. My only problem is AVs and MIs, other then that you're pretty good equipped to have high survivability.

Unstoppable is nice too, use herostats to know when it runs out and be ready to press a cab followed by Dull Pain, in most cases you can be in the middle of a fight and still survive.

Check local "costume-stores" for cheap cossies, I got a cheap superman-cossie at a store in sweden.

And a tip!

Since it's a pub and there will be beer, don't buy a "full body"-costume.. Going to the bathroom would mean undressing everything! (been there, done that)

Unlocked the Khelds last night and my idea was to make a blast-oriented PB. Any suggestions on builds and/or guides appreciated..

This is my opinion:

Resist Physical Damage
Good auto that gives you res agains smashing/lethal, 3-slot with res enhancements and you get a good res against the biggest damage-type in the game. Drains no end.

Temporary Invulnerability
see above. Only diff is that it's a toggle.

Dull Pain
Good "self heal", gives you 70% more HP and heals you 70% (if I remember numbers correctly..) Many peopla use it proactive before a big fight to get more HP.

Resist Elements
Res against fire/cold and toxic (?), Auto just like the first. I've never picked it because due to the small amount of enemies that deals this type of damage, get another power instead of this.

Unyielding
The best power in the invul powerset IMO, Res against knockback, mez and such.. Never turn it off and slot for res and end red.. Gives res against all except psy-powers.

Resist Energies
See "Resist Elements", the same except res against energy/negative. I've never picked it.

Invincibility
Gives +DEF and +ACC for each enemy in melee range (up to 10 enemies), I slot it with tohit-buffs and end red.

Tough Hide
Basically a +DEF auto.. My build is heavy on Res and low on Def so I've never picked it.

Unstoppable
Fantastic power if you got Herostats to time it, When it wears off you have almost no end or HP. IMO a must for a invul-scrapper



That's my invul build and my opinions, I'm not sure of the numbers or the effects on some of the powers since I'm at work and cannot run the game to check..
