now that was loads of fun, right to the end.
but pvp'ing for 210 minutes was a bit of pain on the eyes and fingers. we had a good team going at the beginning, and wamdue, good lord were you kicking our butt. but still, we did manage to hold our own.
yet, i still cant believe i managed to get into the villain base on my hero... those drones are so blind! 
edit: im currently thinking up another event to go with this. maybe a set war, two large teams meet up in the middle, no fighting beforehand. then we just charge. a good, fair fight... err war. shall be loads o fun if it works. well time to go off and do a couple of threads about it, toodle pip.

Sorry I was so late, friends didn't leave til midnight... had fun though, when I arrived the villains were eating heroes for breaky but when the heroes clubbed together and STAYED TIGHT the villains had no chance... great fun, lets do it again, this time when I can be there longer...
Very to and fro tonight, my first real attempt at PvP.
Heroes owned all for most of it tbh and I expected nothing else 
Still there were two sustained period of villian dominance which was most satisfying.
At times my Brute felt like a gimped level 1 and at times felt he was better than his level. Even tho I must have looked like a large target wearing almost all white, I think managed ok against everyone bar that ruddy hurricane from Afro and that 50+ SO power of Disco King Jr's 
Had to laugh when two level 50's (Disco + a scrapper I can't recall name) double teamed me 
Also enjoyed holding on (barely) against Dark Neo, Dr Gullible (erm forget the other) untill Kid Power and 'every other hero' smacked me around a bit.
Easily the moment that made me laugh most was having six heroes hitting me with punches and assorted blasts and holds. Watching the fury bar reach max and dish out extreme DoT from Death Shroud was cool 
Did seem tho exceptionally hard to beat most of those Scrappers and the few tanks I had a pop at, felt like a slow, painfull death to me.
it was funny, whenever i got faceplanted and i had to fly back to the battle field (this happened ALOT of time, trust me) i always put my camera view as high as i can go and hit spacebar, coz i fly while looking down and i can see everyone below me, very handy when street hunting. i was looking down and i suddenly saw a small white blob... oh look, its majikman, ill go give him a snipe to the head..
sure enough, i did and you dropped to your knees begging for mercy, or were you just faceplanting... cant remember but we did have some fun beating on you, then you turning around with full fury and one hitting someone. but there was someone there who was very annoying.. dont know their name but they took me out in one hit, they were ninja/nijit stalker, and it bloomin hurt!

From this thread I take comfort in the fact that other people have trouble with Wamdue. You are a devil to face.

was there for an hour or so and was good managed to join just as the villains were takin control and pushed us all the way back to the base so was quite satisfyin when the heroes managed to push them back to theirs. did seem as tho some people had a little vendeta against me and kept pickin on me but im probably just paranoid

I'm surprised I wasn't targeted more due to me running in to mobs of villains and knocking them back all the time.
Bags of fun, especially near the end of my participation when I managed to get revenge on the Stalker who'd one-shotted me at least once: Rancher. I didn't die that often, but as a level 37 that still meant about 40k worth of debt after an hour. It was worth every penny, if only to be subject to the highly villainous, inventive, funny and smartly-used tactic of teleporting me next to arbiter drones for the instant kill. This was, to me, the benchmark of villainy and absolutely perfect.

I got a Phase-Shift 30 minute usage temp power for doing patrols in Warburg. This saved my glowy white behind a few times so I'd recommend other people doing the same.
Pity the temp powers from Sirens only last 30 minutes real life time, by the time Kid power (fly 
) gets to Bloody Bay they're nearly ran out.
By the way, who was the AR/DEV blaster last night (not you Doulos) name began with a G...female toon...seemed to have something personally against me! If it wasn't for combat jumping i'd have been imob'd so many times from that bloody web grenade.

ive thought of another one for an all out war in the middle of bloody bay. read "caling all units, calling all units!" on this forums, and "theyre coming..." on the union villain forum. we meet at 8, move out at 8:50 then fight at 9.

Bloody bay was definatly one of my best Pvp experinces especially since there was enough heroes and villains on both sides to make the fights feel quite epic

I've also come to the conclusion that scrappers have far too much mez protection, I couldn't hold one unless my Domination bar was full.
And I forgot how much Snipe/Assassin Strike hurts when it comes out of nowhere and you start panicing with the F1 button!

Agreed.
Was a lot of fun - first time I've been so outnumbered by villians. eventually the villian numbers dropped so it was
around 15 heroes to 3 villians hiding in the base. But was real challenge before that.
We got each other a few times Wammy - you did Mez me a few times but each time a single break free worked (plus my mez resist practised Brawler).
I stocked up on Break Frees beforehand
