FFM, I've done a roleplayed battle. Don't bother. There really isn't a point.
The PvP system is so unbalanced it isn't worth doing.
The probability of a bunch of PKers deciding to trash it for fun is too high in the PvP zones.
This is why I've always considered the RP potential of CoH+V to be more or less none existant.

i for one support this and i am willing to patrol the area on defiant so any RP people wont have problems and even escort them to the spot...designate a spot somehwere at the sides of Warburg or away from the beach and i am sure people will agree with that...

Not that it matters much, but I would.
I know what you're saying Birdy, but it won't hurt to at least give it a go, especially for some things I have in mind, and Ghost too. TG made a generous offer there even if it IS the wrong server) and Duckdee agreed to leave us be. If we can persuade the rest, it could at least be usable from time to time for certain events...

i am sure union has lots of people that will be willing to help u with that and is worth trying it... RP community has some great people in it from the ones i have met and know from the forums at least like FF,Wingy and Wordy and so many more but these names pop in my head..i am sure people on Union will be willing to help u pull this off and set some kind of patrol that will give them a bonus since they will be getting the reputation for killing people trying to

I was going to argue, Tainted, since you're having a 'discussion' in another thread about your beach sitting habits. However, that's a stunningly good idea! 
If we can point out that people helping guard the RP site will have our unrestricted and happy praise for attacking anyone and anything that comes near us, that's gotta count for something, right? Plus, they're likely to get a great Reputation out of it.

hehe i suggest not the beach for RP..there are lots of open spaces in Warburg where u can RP easy...also if u point out that there will be good reputation for those patrolling i am sure people will be interested..is like a 2 way gain...u get your peace and they get some good rep and maybe bounty too.
Then I shall have to get FrIce as high a lvl as possible ready for your RP sessions and act as air support on guard patrol - he's 27 atm so probably not much use yet.

Cool or Bodyguards for hire, patrolling the beach keeping the riff raff away from minor celebrities.

Hey Guys and Gals...
Obviously there's bound to be the odd tool who won't, but would the majority of you object to letting us be so we can get on with our RP battles? We won't be doing these for PvP reps or stuff like that, we'd be doing it for our plotlines and nothing else.
At some point, there's going to be RPers with villains of sufficient level for places like Warburg. Now, one of the things we'd like to do is decent, RP'd battles with our opposite numbers, but we're worried we won't get the chance because of all the other PvPers in the same zone interfering and making it impossible for us.
So, if on entering places like Warburg, we make ourselves known, would the rest of the PvPers consent to leave us alone?
At least some of us are going to be making arch-nemesis type characters for others heroes and there's no point in that unless we can meet at a future point and settle things the hard way... If we have to spend 2 hours fighting across the map to get to a RP site, and then get ganked during it, there's just no point...
