    I got AR/En to 50, it was great fun. The rooting anims and the lethal dmg was more than made up for by the sheer awesomeness of FA and flamethrower after a build-up/boost range. Add total focus to the mix and it was a heck of a lot fun.

    Then ED came along.
  5. I have been playing a DM/Regen, lots of fun. As the previous poster said, putting a couple of dmg in your main attacks would benefit you more early on than heal slots in the Regen side.

    I am at level 38 now and I still havent slotted Dull Pain or reconstruction fully with heal enhancements; my priority was to get 3 recharges in there and then add heals later on, after putting the dmg in smite etc. This has worked out pretty well.

    Also with stamina and quick recovery I have had no end probs so far, even with hasten running, and I have slotted attacks with a recharge for extra DPS.

    Here's how it looks so far (n.b. I always take SS and SJ on my toons)

    The way i did it (AR/Energy)...Boost range then build-up. Flamethrower on mob, move back a couple of steps, Full Auto.

    I was one of the toons in there that night, and i have to say i was disgusted with the attitude I saw. When I come into a PVP zone I expect to be attacked, ganked, dismembered.

    I do not expect to have to listen to this so-called idle banter.

    I petitioned the "chatty" ones. For breaking PVP conduct.

    I agree, i tried PVP for a bit, didnt like it, havent gone back since. One of the reasons I got COH was because it didnt have PVP (at the time). But what the OP is complaining about is the game mechanics, so I dont see it as petitionable, just hard luck.

    No, you want the COV method of inviting peeps to an SG:

    Pick a person at random, preferably at level 1, and blindly invite them to your SG without a tell first. Then when that person has joined another SG, still proceed to invite them to yours, even though you havent ever teamed with them.
  19. Been a while since I played AR/En.

    I found I could get away without slotting FA or flamethrower for accuracy, mostly using them as AOE attacks, if they didnt hit the target, they would still hit everyhing next to it.

    I think I had 2 or even 3 recharges in FA to bring it up to flamethrower recharge speed as main aoe attack was:

    Boost range
    Build up
    flamethrower
    full auto

    erm, speaking of which, I dont see boost range in your build. I found that indespensible.

    I never slotted sniper rifle for accuracy, although I never used it in pvp, but I think it had an inherent acc bonus.

    After ED, I respecced things in like beanbag, powerboost, energy punch. I found that I had too many powers that I never really used. Im waiting for the freespec so I can spec back to something a bit simpler.
