GGers at the Brighton Expo
Does it count if it's within a hour in completely the wrong direction?
Me and Doc definately won't be comming for both days, but we're close enough that we could make a day trip for one of the days...
No tickets yet, neither of us is amazing comic fans (in the "we enjoy them and love CoH, but two days at a con is stretching it" sense) so we'll see who's going before making final plans...after all, entrance tickets can be bought on the door, it's hotels that are hard.
Direction doesn't matter But I'll be there for the two days (Hey, my sister lives nearby...)
If you need transport, and I've still got space by then (probably will) then sure, I can come fetch you two...

I'll be there for the Saturday near lunchtime, and leaving sometime Sunday afternoon, probably 12ish.
Grrrr. No chance in hell I'll be able to make it. Even if I wasn't running a vampire larp game on the saturday evening, the odds on me being able to afford transport and/or accomodation are precisely nil.
Means I don't get to inflict my enthusiasm on you all, once again. Some might consider this a good thing

I think I can have a 1 hour drive to it if traffic is ok, haven't sorted out my ticket tho
Looks like we'll be there... probably arriving on the Saturday and leaving... err, don't know, but not on the Saturday.

Right, tickets and hotel room booked. We'll be around both days, but I'm not sure when we'll arrive on Saturday. We'll be heading to Harwich on Monday to catch the evening ferry over the the Netherlands.

Jennybear and I can't make it, sadly. Funds won't allow it. Which is a real pain, because I wanted to see everyone. Still, we'd both likely be bored at a comics expo (she's not heavily into them, and I'm picky about the ones I like).
We -were- going to tell everyone we couldn't make it, then show up to surprise everyone, but sadly, we just can't manage it.
Well, you'll just have to come over for the next "girly weekend" and us guys can stand around with our chests puffed out talking about beer and women and belching and stuff.

A shame, but eminently understandable seeing as you're over in Ireland; it's bound to cost a wee bit more...

I wish! No, we actually won't be there. On the plus side, we do have a mini-games convention on the Sunday to go to, so we won't be bored.
As for the next girly weekend, Birdy, yep! I figure you deserve some reinforcements for the side of masculinity!
Yay! *Manly Hugs*

Sadly I won't be attending.
(well... slight chance that I win the VIP trip... but even then..)
Also, I'd be pretty bored at a comic expo... no that thrilled about them anymore.
If I came, it'd be to meet you guys and girls (or ladies and gentlemen) in person. And for the off chance I might actually have fun at the expo anyway...

Well, I booked for both days, but I have to admit that RPG conventions never used to hold my attention for more than a few hours. Doing both days mostly because we have the following week off, have nothing else to do, and might have a good time, you never know.
Hope the NCSoft stand has a lot of good stuff to keep us entertained... (Hint, hint, Bridger... )

Awww... That's a BIG shame Ghost... I was hoping you might be able to manage it (Hell, I'd have picked you up at the airport/ferry and put you up for the night!), but I quite understand...
Fingers crossed for the comic competition then!!
Actually, the main reason I'M going is to meet as many as I can Oh, and get some pics of Miss Ellie (and others) done! But then, I'm only an hour away at the most .(Actually, I've done it in 40 minutes before, but that was naughty of me!)

Manly hugs FTW!!!!
Going to try and get a picture of Fusebox done.
Hell, if I can find a blue wig and the right t-shirt...
I reckon that I could go for the whole weekend. It's tough to get to Brighton from Hull for a single day.
The problem is: Dad has his heart set on Memorabillia instead.
So he goes there and you come to Brighton, sorted!

I think FFM is referring to the fact that there will be comic artists on the stand doing drawings of your heroes from the in-game version for charity.
I'd like to get one of my heroes done, just really not sure which one.

Indeed I am... I'm planning to queue up several times in fact as there's at least three pics I want to get done. Novastar, Miss Ellie, and another one, maybe two... Could cost me a bob or three, but meh... The pics will be worth it, and it IS for charity!

Yup, that's what I mean. Going to get Fusebox drawn by one of the answers for a nice charitable donation. As for the last part, that's me wanting to cosplay as Fuse there.
So, who's definately going to be there then?
I know I will be there for both days.
Jedi-and told me he's sorted his tickets out too...
Who else for sure?
Be nice to know who's going so we could arrange a REAL meet in a bar or something, only a couple of weeks away you know!
BTW: If anyone lives within say, an hour, of Maidstone in Kent, and is struggling for transport. I can squeeze 4 passengers into my Vectra...
