Well, most matches will be played in arena, and most matches are usually played with TS off and HD off.
do you have a storm yet? i see those being really useful after GR(aka city of blasters).

Is Earth/Nrg really that good? Mine is now sitting at 44 but since I IO'd my Mind/Fire I don't feel confident any KB/-def tricks can outdo that pseudo blaster in any way.
I already have a mind/fire and she is pretty lethal. And now that you mention it, I believe I even have a fire/storm troller, he's just not a Bot, so I really can't use him. Apocalyptic Donkey...if anyone remembers him.

No, I meant Fire/Storm Troller. Fire/Cold might be good in I16 too. If you wanted a /Storm Corruptor I'd pair it with Rad or Sonic.

Now to decide, storm troller, corr or defender... The blaster aspect entices me. Pets seem somewhat worthless for a troller unless you go ill... Def has best debuffs (right) but corr has some good blasters powers. Humm...
Also depends what side you want to PvP on for the next few months. Once Going Rogue comes out you'll be able to PvP on either side, but for now it matters.
Keep in mind that Corruptors don't hit nearly as hard as Blasters. I personally like Controllers the best. Illusion is quite fun, and you can be a fortress for any other heroes to stay around. Often times, you'll see a Stormie as the center of a hero huddle. Also, Ice and Mind are good primaries for PvP, with Mind/ being the best. Illusion isn't generally a good PvP set, but I just like it so much.
Ill/Storm/Primal can be good in pvp.
I guess I should have also said, this toon will be mainly Arena, hardly ever if any zones.
Ah, okay. Well that changes a bit. I personally would say Storm is better for zone than for arena.
Storm is actually better in arena than zones...the NPC's wreck most stormies in zone. Plus having a giant map to run away from all the debuffs is also bad...so yea. I think you got it backwards.
ill/storm/earth isn't bad imo. You don't have to build for +HP and can build for other things, +Acc mainly imo and perhaps +Dmg. Hurl Boulder is a nice ranged attack, hopefully you can get containment dmg on it, I also believe spectral wounds does decent dmg as well. Add to that phantom army plus all the other pets that will help keep your target suppressed and you could do alright.
Most folks will tell you power mastery for PB holds -Def -ToHit -End/Recov ect...ect...but those were for Paper cut deaths. It's about dmg now...and HP

impossible. it animates longer than you can hold someone for, you have to be on the ground for like an extra 2 seconds to cast it. i just slot it for knockback protection.
Not impossible, just hard in the way your thinking.
Not every toon is melee and has access to that much mez res so a 6 sec hold is still possible and since hold and confuse are different suppression timers it doesn't seem that hard to me at all.
Well, I think i'll make a storm/dark defender. Overall should have some nice tohit debuffs and a little heal.
Bout that time again... I need to roll up another pvp toon.
Here's what I currently have to work with (that I think is pvp possible)
earth/sonic troller (use to be a good idea)
Fire/rad troller (i like meh imps)
fire/thorn dom (lvl 40 atm, at the time he was one of the few doms that had aim, when aim was more important)
dark/rad corr (lvl 28 atm, I just figured a lot of -to hit)
I'm more than happy to start fresh with another build (preferably with a corr or troller) but if I could get by with any of these that would be nice.
