    Psi/EM blaster

Don't take medicine. If you are getting pummeled enough that you need medicine, that one heal you do get off won't be enough to save you from more pummeling.

    Psy/Nrg?

Do you want this build for pvp?
  3. @PositronBot or @PosiBot i'm always down for 1v1s.

    Good to know.
  5. I can't seem to find any posts about this, but dev digest seems really messed up for me.

    MMs for PvP

You know... you really can't go wrong with many MM builds. /pain, /poison, /dark, /storm can all be great builds. As well as really any primary CAN be good. There are better ones than others, but MM can overall be a pretty easy AT to pvp with. If you already made a thugs/poison and like it, then stick with that build. If you want some extra heals then /pain may be your thing. /dark is my fav because of the monster heal (does require a to hit check) and all the nice debuffs. It seems more often than not people miss against me.
  7. I just put in another ati 4850 and enabled crossfire. After clicking to open coh I get a bsod error saying "ati2dvag". Happens everytime. When I disable crossfire I can play coh fine. The obvious solution would be to keep crossfire disabled, and I probably will, BUT is this a problem with my ati cards, or coh? This is coh helper's post w/ crossfire disabled.

    MM's in PvP?

I stopped pvp'n with my MM i arena. It seems too easy with him. Ninja/dark here. Great -to hit debuffs, good heal, debuffs, etc.
  11. I still say get rid of flash freeze, but if you really think you will use it, keep it. You could always drop assault for conserve power. This also might be an oversight, but I would throw an end reduction in it if you do keep it.

Also, if it were me, I would use all 3 blessing of the zypher ( i love bonuses, im not even sure which ones they give, I just like em.) But if I remember they give higher % increases then HOs. Not 100% certain on that.
  12. Few things i've seen that might help you. Unless you are fighting tanks or brutes or some scrappers, you won't be in melee range with many players in zones or arena very often, and if you are you will want to use Power thrust or TF. I would drop bone smasher and use those slots for combat jump (extra luck of the gambler +rech, and univ travel KB protection, etc) Then I would either go with power boost or conserve power ( i have both on mine.) Sometimes in arena duels take a bit longer than your normal 30 sec burst of attacks, and conserve power is nice to have in those instances (i'm constantly running 7 toggles). Also you might want to look into taking a slot out of hasten, it only gives about 7 sec keeping it in there. I 6 slotted psi lance and for my 6th slot I put in a chance to disorient IO. I'm not able to access mids from where i'm at so I couldn't tell you which one, but its funny as hell when I snipe someone and you know the last thing they are thinking is they are going to get disoriented. Also I would think about throwing in a perceived perception +perception (i believe thats the name) in tactics. Gives a little help on perception. I've never been a fan of sleep powers, as they sleepie will awaken as soon as attacked, so the whole point of going to sleep is kinda null. You could take slots out of Flash freeze (or get rid of it altogether) and either trade assault for maneuvers ( slot it full of LOTG, KB protection, etc). If you do decide to get rid of it you could then pick up power boost or even Vengeance and slot that up with LOTG/KB protection again.

*edit* Sorry about the one big paragraph.
  13. Well, I think i'll make a storm/dark defender. Overall should have some nice tohit debuffs and a little heal.
  14. This week is pretty hectic, so my only open nights are tues and wed. If someone needs to sub for me, definitely feel free to sub.
  15. I guess I should have also said, this toon will be mainly Arena, hardly ever if any zones.
  16. Now to decide, storm troller, corr or defender... The blaster aspect entices me. Pets seem somewhat worthless for a troller unless you go ill... Def has best debuffs (right) but corr has some good blasters powers. Humm...
  17. I already have a mind/fire and she is pretty lethal. And now that you mention it, I believe I even have a fire/storm troller, he's just not a Bot, so I really can't use him. Apocalyptic Donkey...if anyone remembers him.

edit...or are you talking fire/storm corr?
  18. [ QUOTE ]
Go make a Psy/ Blaster for PvP and slot that sucker in Will Domination, then tell me if you think it has any uses.

That proc alone has made Psy/ the go-to PvP primary for Blasters. Without it, Psy/ wouldn't be such a clear-cut choice.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Well, i'm gonna have to disagree with that. I hardly use will dom cuz I somewhat feel the 100% chance for placate is a bit cheap, yet psy imo is still the clear cut choice for blasters.
  19. Well I have a pretty badass MM atm. Not sure if I would want to roll up another one of those. It seems like i push the "easy" button when I log on him.
  20. Well, most matches will be played in arena, and most matches are usually played with TS off and HD off.
  21. Bout that time again... I need to roll up another pvp toon.

Here's what I currently have to work with (that I think is pvp possible)

earth/sonic troller (use to be a good idea)
Fire/rad troller (i like meh imps)
fire/thorn dom (lvl 40 atm, at the time he was one of the few doms that had aim, when aim was more important)
dark/rad corr (lvl 28 atm, I just figured a lot of -to hit)

I'm more than happy to start fresh with another build (preferably with a corr or troller) but if I could get by with any of these that would be nice. I would rather not roll an elec/therm, but other than that I'm open for ideas. I really liked the idea of my dark/rad (two heals, lots of -to hit, but seems like weak dmg).

OOOH, that was one of my favorite builds. perma IW.... nice!
  23. Geez I feel like I should say something, but everything seems like it's been said. psy/em ftw.
