Inf Transfer's
Yes, you can trade Influence between toons of two different accounts. Get next to a character and right click on them, and chose Trade. There is a field to input the amount of Influence you want to trade. Other items to be traded (salvage, enhancements, recipes) are drag and drop into the main window panes.
You can not transfer Influence between two toons of your own account because you can't get them online at the same time. There is no emailing or sending of Influence in the game. Two ways around this are:
1. Buy an expensive item and store it in your base. On your other toon, pick up the item and sell it.
2. Use the Market to transfer influence by having one character buy a cheap item placed on the Market by your other character for a lot of influence. It's a bit tricky to do and if you screw it up and someone else sells you the same item you put up yourself, then you've transferred all your influence to them instead of you. And if you do that, there is no recourse; Customer Service will not get you your influence back. However, there are ways to do it so that it's almost foolproof. See here...

As far as transferring Influence from redside to blue... can't be done. There are no crossfactional trading at all. You can't even pass an Awaken inspiration to an opposite faction teammate on a co-op mission. However, there is a workaround if you can find someone willing to take Infamy from you redside, and on another one of their toons, give you Influence blueside.

Heh. Indeed. I was the lucky receiver of a nice fortune just recently on one of my toons because of someone's botched Inf transfer. I asked for like only... 50 Inf for the enhancement, but I wound up with a hundred thousand times that. Oh well. At least that character's financial future is secure.
Sorry to whoever lost it to me, though.
You may be able to find trustworthy people who can assist in helping you transfer from redside to blueside, vice versa, and even across servers. Often there is at least some fee involved. Usually checking in the target server forum is the way to go. It is best to be very clear on which server and side you have, which server and side you want, and how much you are looking to do.

That doesn't prove they were attempting an influence transfer. They could have simply looked at the history of the past 5-10 sales and bid what they felt would get them an instant sale.
Not everyone wants to sit in the market and place bids in 5 inf increments.
Furthermore I routinely have people paying me millions of times more than my sales price at the market because I sell everything for 1 influence.

It was a Level 6 enhancement. Who in their right mind would pay 5 million Inf for a Level 6 enhancement if it wasn't a botched Inf transfer?

And just where in your previous post did you provide any of that information? I'll quote it again for you so you can point out where you said it was a level 6 enhancement.

Nope, I don't see anything that would imply you were selling a level 6 enhancement. Just a comment that you recieved a large amount for an enhancement you sold for 50 inf.
Not only didn't you say what the level of the enhancement was, you also failed to tell us if it was a common IO, an IO from a set, an SO, DO, HO, or a training enhancement.
For all anyone knew from the post I responded to, you could have been selling a level 10 Winter's Gift: Slow Resistance.
In the future if I'd suggest providing a little more detail, it helps minimize misunderstandings.
Qr - that needless apostrophe in your title is Pedant Baiting, you know.

That's actually more believable. 5 mil is pretty much a pittance as far as market influence transfers go.

Hey... the character I received the Inf on is only Level 8. I don't know many Level 8s running around with that much in their pocket otherwise. I usually make my toons work for their wealth.

Gee, All I have to do to earn 5 mil by level 8 is turn off my xp gain and sell the drops I get from running radio/safeguard missions in KR. I could earn it even faster if I was the type that enjoyed farming.
Marketeers can also show you how easy it is to earn inf by manipulating the market.
5 mil is just a drop in the bucket these days.
Oh sure... if you turn off XP, and keep the character at the same low level forever and ever for whatever demented reason you got kicks off of, he'll be the richest lowbie ever. But I'd rather keep my characters progressing.
And farming is not working for your Inf.

Whine and cry all you want about the different methods the devs have given us to make money. It still doesn't change the fact that any lowbie character can easily earn 5 million inf in a couple of hours. I suppose next you'll even try to claim that choosing to run missions against NPC's that drop the most expensive salvage is somehow demented.
I once got 5 million for a large green inspiration. I just assumed it was a random act of kindness.

Several players use the market to do their RAK's these days.
The influence beggars pretty much killed off players randomly giving stuff out to people. The market lets the players indulge their generosity while at the same time maintaining their anonymity.
You can give away hundreds of millions and never have some greedy little jackhole follow you around pestering you with tells demanding more free stuff.

Have you ever seen a farm? It's the most ridiculous concept of "gaming" that I have ever seen, because it isn't even playing. You've got a couple high level players beating up the threats while lower level players just sit around and watch, soaking up the XP and Inf.
That's not working for your reward. That's not even playing.

That's PL'ing.
If I want to re-play a mission a few times becuase it has a high reward/time ratio, I'm not going to pad it with other players. That would just split the drops away from me. And since I'm the only one in the mission, I'm doing ALL of the work, and therefore earn ALL of the drops. Why would my farming not be earning all my own rewards?
Ok good evening everyone,
Im not sure this is the coffect area to post this but im going to post it anyways.
First off, are Inf Transfers allowed?
if so...
can you transfer inf from red side to blue side?
Much thanks Zine
