Flipping suggestions?
Short answer... anything that consistently shows a wide range in "last 5" prices. Just remember that these things can change rapidly... all it takes is one hoarder dumping their stock cheap or a quirk of the RNG increasing supply to dry up a niche, at least temporarily.
Can't help on specific items, because I've decided that marketeering takes too much time away from actually playing the game and that merits, tickets, and TF runs are a much more entertaining way to get rich.
Cascade, level 50 Blaster (NRG/NRG since before it was cool)
Mechmeister, level 50 Bots / Traps MM
FAR too many non-50 alts to name

The Scavenger Hunt: 187076
The Instant Lair Delivery Service: 206636
Crushing Impact, Positron's Blast and Mako's Bite have always been good to me. Level 30s you can pick up for 100K or so and sell for 1-3M (redside)

Ahh, that's not bad but you can find better.
My suggestion is to look at the IOs YOU want to use and start there. Usually those are the good ones that players are willing to pay a nice price for. And be patient. You make money flipping by buying stuff cheap NOT by selling it high (IMHO)
I don't know the current IO I'm working is netting me about a 43% ROI I'm listing at lower than the going rate, but they keep selling higher
I just compare between the reciepe and crafted and take into account salvage needed to determine potential profit and go from there.
Spines/ D A lvl 50 Scrap, stone/wm lvl 50 tank, Kat/reg lvl 50 Scrap
Grav/Kin lvl 50 Cont, Fire/Enegry lvl 50 Blast
Warshade lvl 50, PB lvl 39, nightwidow lvl 50, crab lvl 42
plant/thorns lvl 50 dom, ice/fire lvl 40 dom, grav/nrg lvl 41 dom
My suggestion to new marketers is usually to listen around the AE sites for what archtypes / powersets are being requested. Then come back to the forums and read the build guides for those characters. That should help determine what recipes / enhancements are likely to be in higher demand.

That's my way of doing things. But then, I only want enough inf to equip that toon, so each toon makes a fortune on their own merits. The quickest way for me to do this, is look at what I need for that toon, bid for more than I need, sell half the excess, and dump the rest in the base.

Try KB protection or Steadfast +3% Defense. Those are always in demand.
Wow La_Baldera, thats frickin insanely smart!!!
Yeah Still, but they are falling like rain now so aren't going for nearly as much are they?
They sell at 10-20 for steadfast and 3-6 for karmas blueside, not bad for just cashing in some tickets and getting fairly cheap salvage.
One plan I'm trying out occasionally is to buy 3 - 5 of each IO recipe you want to use, use one and sell the rest. It may net you some profit or just offset/eliminate costs.
It does require some start up money to buy 3x-5x what you need, but if you can, then you should be fine.
I am an ebil markeeter and will steal your moneiz ...correction stole your moneiz. I support keeping the poor down because it is impossible to make moneiz in this game.
And, it might go without saying, flipping mid-range uncommon salvage is a great way to get some start up funds.
look for 'good' recipes with multiple bids and 0 for sale- these are always seriously undervalued.
Put in some bids a bit over the 'last 5'.
Go play the game & check back in a few days.
Re-list your wins for much, much more than you paid.
Or if you like crafting, craft the recipe (using tickets to keep salvage costs down) and list the IO. Crafted IOs tend to sell slower than recipes but can bring in much higher prices.

Might be time to start double-checking this tho. I just saw a recipe last night go for 27m where the crafted was going for 20m. Needless to say I posted just the recipes (yeah, I got 2! MWHAHA!).
there are always exceptions to the rule, but it's the sellers responsibility to run price checks before sinking inf into the project.
That's why I mostly stick to flipping recipes plain- I'm lazy.

Yep some recipes are going for as much or close to the crafted IO. mostly purples are that way it seems so you may as well sell the recipe only.
I am buying [censored] recipes for [censored] inf. I craft them and sell them for [censored] inf... so.... about 7400% profit.
Am I doing good?
And for the life of me... I haven't figured out why you evil market guys/gals haven't come in and stole this gig from me.

Well 7400% of 1 is not worth my time ... so how about posting your GROSS profits?
I like looking at my flip profits this way... "Is 10 million profit from buying and crafting worth it? HELL YES!!!!"
I don't look at % anymore I look at profit lol 10% of a 100 mill is 10 Mill lol so is that a crappy return? Probably for some of the EBIL DOERS, but it's more than acceptable for me.
*NOTE 10 mill profit is including fees hehe*
Hi FluShots....
Fair enough.... it's greater than 10,000,000 and less than 20,000,000 per transaction. That is as close as I am going to get ya.
I still think this [censored] recipe has some play in it... at least until someone steals it from me.

So if I am doing my math right then you are buying a recipie for between 135,135 - 270,270 and selling the crafted IO for $10,135,135 - $20,270,270.
Does your 7400% return include crafting costs, salvage costs and listing/selling fees?
I realize that it is quite likely nobody will want to answer this, and if they do it will probably cause a rush anyway, but what are some profitable recipes to flip? Most of the ones I've been doing are getting cheaper to sell and more expensive to buy. The high prices are leading more people to buy recipes instead of IO.
