Now THAT would be awesome... just think of all the sticky gooeyness that you could accomplish with such a powerset. It would actually be the polar opposite of FF, or at least its mirror image. It would have "bubbles" sure, but the rest of the powers?
Where FF has knockback, Bubblegum Domination would have holds and immobilizes. But it would make a better Controller primary instead.
In fact, if that existed... I might actually PLAY Controllers!

Cold Domination bugs you, but Mental Manipulation, Energy Manipulation, Electricity Manipulation, Assault Rifle, Battle Axe, War Mace, and Mind Control don't?
It's not particularly heroic for a hero to punch the bad guys face in with Super Strength. It's also not heroic to riddle them with bullets with an Assault Rifle.
It's just a name, big deal. Just like this is just a game and it shouldn't bother you that much that something is called "Cold Domination" even though the powerset does exactly what it's called. It allows you to dominate cold.

MoG currently works much better with Regen that it ever did when it was "several minutes of not being able to regenerate at all". It lets you eat alphas like they were snack cakes. It wasn't changed because of the name; it was changed because turning off regeneration is really bad when all your secondary is based on regeneration.

FWIW most of the responses you're getting are negative/joking because the name simply doesn't affect gameplay in the slightest. Not to mention the fact that Cold Domination means domination (aka control) over an element, NOT domination over your foes. For example, Empathy could have been named Healing Domination.
