I believe OSA does knockdown after lit... I'm more interested to see whether it will scourge or not.
TA is very good, and people play quite different while using it. On a Fire/TA build of mine, I'll probably skip Ice Arrow as well, and probably Flash Arrow according to how tight my build is.
The main thing I don't like about TA is it's lack of -regen (outside of EMP Arrow which isn't really enough to count for an AV and stops your recovery). The debuffs are good, but I think it's lacking when fight AV's.
Anyway, got sidetracked... back to drooling thinking of scouring Oil Slick and Rain of Fire...

You can, but you'd have to take both Snap Shot and Aimed Shot, if you're an Arch/TA corr and you want to skip Flash Arrow.
Unless I missed something and they are going to re-arrange TA so Flash Arrow becomes the Tier 1?

No one here has mentioned if RoA is gonna get scourge. It's 3 separate hit checks, so it COULD scourge. I sent Castle a PM a while back asking about if it were to come over would it scourge and he told me that if they programmed in Scourge into the pet that is summoned then it could...
if it could...that would be SOOOO crazy.

RoA should scourge. It isn't all that different than rain of fire, or icestorm and they were both coded to scourge.
Regarding OSA, I don't see it scourging. I don't think any of the secondary powers scourge other than gale.

RoA is pretty much guaranteed to Scourge, but I don't know why it's such an amazing thing if it does. If your foes are below half health and it scourges, it will probably defeat them. If they're not at half health, then you probably won't see it Scourge till the last tick. You'll most likely hardly ever see it Scourge more than once on an enemy that isn't a boss or higher.
I mean, don't get me wrong, it'll be powerful. But I don't see what makes it so drool-worthy compared to any other version of RoA.
Compare it to Full Auto or any other Corruptor T9 except Blizzard. I think that's the point. Most of those you won't ever see Scourge, so if RoA Scourges once that IS an improvement. And since it already does more base damage than FA, this puts it even further ahead.
Personally, I'm hoping that particular comparison will convince them to look at Full Auto again. Not to make it Scourge more, but to bring its base damage at least in line with RoA, if not slightly better.

I'd rather have the damage. I can handle hopping backwards quickly to catch my enemies at the end of the cone where it is widest. An FA that is merely wider than the current version would still be considerably weaker than RoA, even without RoA's Scourge advantage.

Geez, I didn't even make it past 6 on my AR/Dark. Actually, none of my AR/? attempts did, I hate the redraw so much. It's one of those things where you know that the animation is not really slowing you down, but the appearance of it just makes the illusion that it is so strong and you just can't get over it.
Actually the animation IS slowing you down. AR has had an animation time overhaul, like other sets, and the redraw time that was once "baked in" is now extra whenever it occurs so that while you have the rifle out, you can chain attacks faster.
That's the joke with AR/TA/Mace. Maximum redraw time waster.

Ya I think it is only spines/thorny left now that redraw doesn't slow you down. Doesn't make it any less annoying on those sets though with the constant "thwick" and dropping like a stone during movement.
Scourging RoA could mean the difference between alive and pissed off enemies, and enemies that are very much dead. Especially LTs. It could also be a good use on AVs or anything with lots of HP. Having the third tick of damage be doubled up would be pretty incredibly useful on enemies low on health from the first two. Having all 3 would be even cooler!
Oh gawd I just realized how awesome it would be to use Ignite on your OSA over the computer on the ITF.
Since first Arrow is Entangling Arrow, I believe.
So you would be required to take that.
