Hami raids have been awesome lately red and blue side. Very well organized, take a little over an hour and gives 53 merits... time WELL spent.

[E]verybody with a toon in high 40's should do a Hami Raid at least once. It's like a rite of passage

So is circumcision, in some cultures.

oh, god, i saw that on one of the cable channels. you have to wait until you're like 14 and then they cut you. you can't flinch or cry out. it was horrible.

I'm asking am I the only person who feels this way about how regular content, TF's, raids and so on appear to be a dying "art?"

[/ QUOTE ]

I grabbed six strangers and ran a Manticore earlier this week. It went like a steamroller with three Speed Boosts. (we ended up with three Kinetics.) I didn't go on the last Rikti raid I heard advertised, but there was a bunch of raucous, happy people afterwards. Maybe the problem isn't with "TF's, raids and so on"... maybe the problem is Hami.

So you think you're a hero, huh.

Yes. The problem is that a Hami raid isn't something you throw together at a moment's notice.

It seems we have reached a point where noobs are everywhere at every level and people just don't want to help anymore. When I started 18 months ago, I had a lot of help. By the time I got my first toon to 30, on protector, I knew what to do, and how to respec it, and look so forwarded to doing high lvl TF's and raids. There was a time people would "/b Anyone want to start a raid?" in PI, TI, or Grand and boom, you had enough or came close to having enough. Now it seems the raids are dying out - be it hami or RWZ. It seems like ALL HAIL AE! Seriously, is it me or is this what the games seems to have become in the past few months?

*About 20 people /b something like that and no one could or would explain it, and even a few replied "it's a bubble farm."

I agree By Far. I have teamed with LvL 50's that didnt know how to get to PI. That is Stupidity and AE at its best.

Lvl 50's

Girly Torch Fire/Bubbles Controller
Dave Goringer Fire/Kinetics Controller
Joe Goringer Willpower/Energy Melee Tanker

Freedom:
Big Spine Baby Spines/Regenration Stalker

My_11_toons did you try PinnBadges or Cozmic's Playground? At any time there are usually 200+ people in each channel. Myself and many people I know would never join a pug from broadcast especially if we don’t know the person. A Hami raid can be either very good or a complete waste of many hours depending on the organization or lack there of, its much easier to get 7 other people from the channel and do a STF in 2 hours for a HO.

But by then most of the players have said unkind things about the organizers mother, jello molds, and fruity bits, and have gone back to killing things that don't hit very hard in the MA building.

[/ QUOTE ]

Custom minions in the MA -- even set to Standard -- hit harder than most of the standard minions, because they use the player skills. Now, of course, you can populate MA arcs with soft-hitting standard minions, but that's another story (pardon the pun).
