Never ever ever ever create a clear all mission.
In small maps, there's nothing wrong with defeat alls. In large maps? I don't know how you could possibly rationalize it being fun or even needed according to the story, but to each their own.

Also if the map says "random" in the description or large, I just avoid the arc.
Couldn't give a flying [censored] what your story is. I only have limited play time nowadays as it is. If I wanted a tedious grind I'd re-sub to WoW.
So I am VERY careful in deciding whether I'll play an arc with a kill all. Usually leaning AGAINST playing them most of the time.

One of my first requests for the search options was a way to exclude arcs that have Defeat All missions. It needs to be more complex than just negating a text search option, because so many people put "no defeat alls" in their story description.

I have one kill-all mish in one of my arcs, but it's on a small map. And it's a good reason (they're all duplicates of one villain, so if you don't get them all, you didn't defeat him).
If you see a defeat all, play it or don't play it. But reflexively deducting a star for it doesn't seem right.

Qr - the defenders of Clear Alls arent defending ALL Clear Alls, just ones that arent tedious.
Someone who would find a Clear All on Blacbeard's casino map too much to bother with has such a short attention span I'm surprised they even manage to get to 'accept' without ragequitting.

Defeat All missions aren't bad, as long as you're not making me do it on an outdoor map or something.

How about Defeat All using Psychic Clockwork on Siege's Factory map, with a single glowy (that doesn't end the mission, just gives a clue).

Geez. I didn't notice the patrols, I just thought that I had missed a few on my first few runs around the map.
And by around, I mean around, spiraling upwards, jumping down to get ones that fall, running back up to spiral up some more, then jump out and down, go around once, then drop down again and go around a bit more.
