Question: Selling IOs
There are no stores that will let you sell a crafted IO to them for money. You basically have to sell it on the market, trade it to someone, or delete it.
The same is true of the small variety of other "special" enhancers like Hamidon-Os, etc.

Uberguy is correct. You can sell the recipes at any store, but once you craft an IO, you can only sell it on the market.
From what I understand, they removed the time limit on the market. It used to be if you bid or tried to sell items, but didn't log into that character for 45 days or such, you lost your item. Now, you can keep it there. So I would just put the items on the market for a reasonable price and leave them until they sell. It's rare that something never sells unless it's priced too high.

IIRC You can get the half the crafting cost back if you sell them during a respec.

Kevin Christian (MC/FF/Primal Controller)
SilverCybernaut (Eng/Dev/Munitions Blaster)
Apixie OhNo (Fire/Fire/Pyre Tanker)
Y'ru Glowen (Rad/Rad/Psy Defender)
One caveat on the time limit - I believe there is no time limit as long as your account is active. If you let it lapse, the 60-day limit is probably in force.

For set recipes, you get the full crafting cost back. (none of the ingredient or recipe cost, just crafting.)
For commons, you get half the crafting cost back. This is the "memorized" crafting cost, because at one point people were crafting [memorized] level 50's, respeccing with a trayfull and printing money.

[/ QUOTE ]It's the memorized crafting cost, which isn't always exactly half (but it's usually close)

[/ QUOTE ]Unless something changed recently that I haven't noticed, the time limit's still there, and has been since the market opened. It has nothing to do with whether your account is active, but whether your character accesses the market server.
You need to access the market server at least once every 60 days, or else you stuff will be deleted. Accessing the market server can be either opening the market screen, or getting a notification that one of your items sold/you bought an item. Simply logging in isn't enough, unless an item has been bought/sold since your last login.

The 60 day limit was recently removed, at least for active accounts.
I believe (with no proof) that it did not match the design goal.
DESIGN GOAL: "Abandoned" stuff gets deleted and clears up space on the market server. People learn about the 60-day limit, take measures to avoid it, unless they quit the game. It becomes one of those well-known things like "Get stamina at level 20."
ACTUAL RESULTS: Some percentage of people do not learn about the 60-day limit (10%? 50%? 80%? I don't even know. The people who, when you tell them 'read this', don't.) Or forget about it. People run 132 characters and don't get to them every 60 days. Stuff gets lost. Sometimes, very valuable stuff (full sets of Numina's) gets lost. Turns out that people learn about the 60 day limit by experiencing it, not by being told about it. And a LOT of people get really upset when they get, and it looks like this to them, mugged by the devs.
Sometimes, people can't log in for two months straight for good reasons, like THEY ARE IN AFGHANISTAN SERVING THEIR COUNTRY, and they lose their stuff.
You ended up with a lot of customers who were really unhappy over what was, to the devs, a very minor benefit. If you're unhappy because the game is balanced and you are mortal, the Devs should have no sympathy. If you're unhappy because a minor technicality cost you your LIFE SAVINGS TO DATE, then maybe the technicality needs looking at.

And it appears that they looked at the technicality and changed it, effective April 7!
On the other hand, I'm still seeing people complain on other forums and in-game about the 60-day rule despite this:
Black Market / Wentworth's Consignment House
* Characters (on active accounts) who have inventories, bids or items for sale in the Black Market or in Wentworth's Consignment House will no longer have to log into the game within 60 days to avoid item or influence/infamy expiration.
* In-game Black Market and Wentworth employees will still give their friendly reminder, however if your account is "active", they won't take your "stuff".

Either people don't read patch notes, or this has become a "well-known CoX fact" like "Get Stamina at 20" and no amount of posts will fix it.

Eldorado: Yes, that was my point. It wasn't working and they changed it.
Whisper: Well, yeah, if you knew about the 60-day rule and you got called up, you could have done something about it. There were at least two people who posted on the forums because they didn't know about the rule, went off to get shot at and came back to a surprise. It was like some lame RPG jodie.

No, that changed. It was in the I14 patch notes, and announced by a community rep.

I've tried searching around the forum and couldn't find the answer. My question is: Where can I sell IOs?
Sounds pretty simple but I haven't been able to figure this out. I put some up on WW but have some that I'm sure wouldn't likely sell for a long time.
I've tried the various stores (Origin and FC) and only see the "Can't sell here" message. So, to whom can I sell IOs? Thanks in advance.
