Need two villain cliches to work with.
The enormously buff guy that isn't too bright.
A demon. Any demon.
A man-reptile that loves to kill for the sake of killing.
Creepy undead chick, a la Ghost Widow... and a demon. Like Xzero said.
"One day we all may see each other elsewhere. In Tyria, in Azeroth. We may pass each other and never know it. And that's sad. But if nothing else, we'll still have Rhode Island."
Horribly scarred and vengeful ex-postal worker.
Things to remember:
-Common sense ain't;
-Overkill is the only kill;
-If someone asks if you're a god, run away.
An evil, intelligent Android/Robot (Who secretly hates ALL corporeal life, and is just part of, and using the group to further his own ends). <--- Can't get much more cliche than that.
An ex-Boxer possessed with a corrupted version of Mjöllnir that allows him to use lightning and smite enemies with the hammer itself... WarMace/ElectricAssault AV...

I think I like this idea. He could fit into the arc with the War God pretty well.

Tropes!
I figured it wouldn't be long before someone invoked a Trope or two.

The cutthroat backstabber. In a Villain group, there's always one who wants to get rid of the boss and rule in his stead.

Troped!
Super nazi. (If you make him a skinhead, he won't even be dated.)
Obsessed assault-rifle guy who insists he's not a villain.
Buff man-hating female brawler.

Just go easy on difficulty scaling and do a lot of testing because I think it may be very frustrating to be hit by a WarMace and be drained by Electricity

I think as long as the powers that do -recovery are avoided it may work. Some only drain a small amount of end while others totally shut down your end recovery for a short time. The detailed info will tell you which ones have -recovery.
My only regret about the evil seductress is that there isn't a "choke a man to death with your thighs" attack.
'Cause that would be perfect.
The best comics are still 10!

WARNING: I bold names.
Evil mythological figures are always a big hit, but then, you already have the servatn of Ares. Perhaps your classic Evil Comicbook Wizard (tm), preferably in service to some terrible demon-god. That, or any of the ideas above would work wonderfuly. Especially the demon. You can never go wrong with demons.

Here's a thought: use your own versions of Thor, Hercules, Set, Ra, etc, only emphasize the really nasty stuff they did in the myths. (And make sure they don't look like the comics versions).

How about a psycho killer? Make a normal looking guy, give him an axe or big knife (Broadsword with a small sword chosen) and Willpower or Invulnerability, and some creepy dialog.
Of course demons are always good... perhaps one who does not use Fire or Dark powers just to be different.
Evil wizards are also always a fun choice. Especially stereotypical, over the top evil wizards in robes.
Some sort of alien.
A monster, such as a werewolf or vampire.
Cascade, level 50 Blaster (NRG/NRG since before it was cool)
Mechmeister, level 50 Bots / Traps MM
FAR too many non-50 alts to name

I've made a villain group, who have 10 top members that will be fought over a series of story arcs. But I can't think up ideas for the last 2 members of the 10. I'm just asking for a basic character idea and I'd go from there. So far I have
Head of an evil corporation who has magical powers
A brute who has gained the power of the war god Ares
A ninja mercenary
An evil samurai
A evil scientist with ice powers
Cliche big brain evil mastermind guy
The Evil Seductress
An evil doctor who performs inhuman experiments
