Yesterday I got to wondering about this so I started a new pair of villains. <Yes I am one of those EBIL dual boxing/dual account people!>
You know what ? I got both of them to 12th level in about 10 hours. They NEVER traded with each other and when the smoke cleared I had a Elec/Kin Corruptor and a Thugs/Pain MM with DO's almost fully stocked. <I didn't quite have enough for all 3 fly DO's in Hover>
I used the EBIL market but NOT to transfer inf, I sold the first 2 Inspirations I got in the tutorial and all of my salvage/recipes either to the market if the price was right, or to Vendors if they were too low priced at market.
I did not "abuse" my two accounts to "get around" the inf trading "exploit", I used common sense.
....just wanted to throw my 2 inf in for the OP, even though he/she will probably just continue to whine that HE/SHE is being singled out unfairly.

I've been stating the obvious in several posts like this. Might as well do it here.
1) OP complains about a minor issue that is perceived to be important.
2) People reply calmly and suggest workarounds
3) OP lashes out at dualboxers because they have more than him. (socialism anyone?)
4) People reply calmly and suggest that it isn't that big of a deal.
5) OP whines some more.
6) People make fun of the OP for not understanding anything that has been said.
7) Someone points this out.
8) Thread dies.
9) A new OP is born and the circle of whining continues.

As to the topic at hand, I do multibox, but even before that, I had no problem making friends in game to transfer inf between characters. Plus, I really felt no desire to do so while leveling up. It's not like single origin enhancements are all that expensive. If your toon needs a sugar-daddy so bad, maybe you should reroll something more self-sufficient.
Usually step 7 involves the person "pointing it out" trying to paint of picture of the "forum regs" being evil bullies picking on the "poor newbie", and they go on about how we're driving new players away by being meanies.

You're not the first, nor will you be the last, to not know what irony truly is, but to spare the lecture I'll say this:
Since when did you have to be able to heal someone to have a Doctorate degree? Plenty of Doctors exist who aren't part of the medical field, you know. Or not, as the case appears to be.

This is really preposterous. I play something like 90% or more of my time solo, and this is about the only MMO I am familiar with (I don't play lots of them, so could be wrong here) where solo play from 1 to top-level is even possible, much less made as accessible as it is.

It's actually possible in most modern MMOs these days. WoW and EQ2 included.

Late to this party...
It's possible, and easier than before, but unlike in those games a solo player in CoX will be able to have the same power levels of a primarily team player because of how our enhancement system works. A solo player in the other games (speaking mostly WoW here as I haven't played EQ2) has no shot at getting anywhere close to "raider's" level of power because all the best gear is locked away in instances that require 10-25 players to finish.
