MA Story Slots On Sale Now ~Discussion~

I don't understand why it asks me if it is okay if they charge my card when I get to what seems to be the end (where it shows that I'm paying for slots) and I don't know which card will be charged. How do I know? I don't want to go any further until I get it figured out because it says it is not refundable.

I'd like to know.

Worked fine for me on Monday when I bought more server toon slots, and Tuesday afternoon when I bought the mission slots. Are you and your coworker connecting from the workplace? What if you try it from home? On different machines?

I can buy things In-Game (Character slots, etc) What Im refering to is NCSOFT's WWW based store. From different ISPs, various times all I get is
"We're sorry, but we are unable to accept your order at this time. Please try again later or tomorrow. If you continue to have problems, you may wish to visit one of our retail partners."

You know I got the standard Tech assist response, what OS are you running and when you enter the game what error are you recieving, blah blah blah.

Well if I had to take a wild guess, I'd say it's probably the card you have on file with them to pay for your monthly subscription.

Okay, so to be clear, your problem has NOTHING to do with buying MA story slots via the Store app in-game?

If so, you should take your concerns over to Tech Issues instead. You're likely to get more visibility there on your problem than in this thread.

Since this was a Red Name generated post figured it might catch their attention more than that crappy auto reply generated Tech support feature. Can't purchase Booster III if they don't fix the store.

I'd like an option to use a different credit card. I used a visa debit once. After the original purchase, I've used Paypal to keep my account subscribed. If I accept for them to "charge my card" then the person who bought this for me could be overdrawn.

This is where it seem to be at a loss unless of course, there is a place to get these extra slots on the cityofheroes.com website and I just don't know it yet.

The City of Heroes website Store is down (4days now) so that's not a option. You can still login to your account and add/change a debit card(Visa/MC logo) do what you need to do and canx it after.

The NCSoft store is NOT current down -- at least not for me (and it's been fine the past few days also). I just went in and purchased an item (City of Heroes® Mini Booster: Temporary 30 Day Jetpack, just because it's cheap). I think there's something happening on your end, Ohsirus...

I would as well. But I'm sure they think devs choice (lol) and HOF (what...theres like only three of those after 4 months of AE?) are enough "free" and won't add any more.

I just can't wait till they announce you can have a larger file size....for the low low cost of 10 dollars!

*sigh* I miss the old days.

Well I too would rather have a way to double my filesize and combine my part 1 and 2. I would even give up a slot for that.

Wonder if when NCSoft needs more cash they act like traffic cops and go ban more farm missions in hope farmers will shell out money to open a new slot.
