I believe all you need is the ray gun from a prior run of the arc. I would guess they will be fixing this in a future patch? Usually temp powers disappear when an arc is finished.

We didn't have the grounding ray just plain ol' Hero know-how. We also didn't use any temp powers (Shivans etc) on the Invincible Reichsman.

Back when we nearly brought him down but for lack of time, we had to use the grounding ray to allow us to attack him; before using it he was in an "Unaffected" and afterwards we managed to whittle him down.. slowly.
Glad to see him actually KOed; did the Clues provide anything different or mention of your feat?

No I had it, on a different toon.
The other person didn't fire it as far as I saw.
I still say the TF has to be fixed.
We killed Reichsy, stopped his troops from coming in, all in the second mission. Just whats the point of the rest of this ?
First time I did this one live, someone asked "We can't beat him, right?" and someone who had done it before said, "Right" and *I* said, "If it bleeds, we can kill it." And was laughed at. Seeing as how I was the only one who thought it'd be fun though, I dropped it.

The regular Reichsman yes, the Invincible Reichsman went down without the Ray. I'd be willing to bet that it has no effect on anything but the final Reichsy.
