Soloing an AV at 27, even with using inspirations is impressive. It's definitely worth boasting about. The only thing (in my mind) not worth boasting over is if you had to use a shivan or a heavy or something to "solo" it. I don't consider that really soloing.
Well anytime you can solo an AV (which is meant to be Un-Solo able) I think if you complete it, it would be very cool 
Edit: I completely agree with Firespray, if a shivan is used or heavy I would say it isnt really solo. Any who... if you are able to do so I think you are worth boasting

FWIW, if there isn't another player involved, yes it is soloing. Shivans, heavies, whatever. It's still soloing. Just not as impressive.

Agreed. I should have qualified my statement with 'IMO'
It doesn't count if you use Shivans, nukes, inspirations, Stamina, or powers with an odd number of letters in their name.

I personally say "If no other player is involved, you soloed it" too. If you gotta use temp pets fine. If you use NPC helper mobs in the mission, fine. You still soloed it. Otherwise you'd be saying that a mastermind who defeats an AV using their full assortment of henchmen isn't soloing it since they had npc help.

Earliest I've ever solo'd an AV was at 19 vs Dr. Vahz on my BS/Regen back in issue 5. As I recall it took most of an insp tray and 15 minutes or more but it's been awhile back.
The same character solo'd Maestro at around 27-28... much easier that time as he's sort of a wimp as AV's go.

There is no 'ruling' possible as there is no officials here.
Inspirations especially for a non-50 are pretty much a given unless the player specifically states otherwise.

Ok, soloing an AV at 27, inspirations used, acceptable or no?
Only have 33 percent s/l resist, so had to use a purple to survive alpha and get in close for Rttc to start it's magic.
So, is it boast worthy? Not that I like to toot my own horn, but I am the type person that likes to know that I accomplished something, and not be the only one who feels that way.
