Mace mastery vs Leviathan mastery pvp
It really comes down to personal choice. Both can be played about as effectively the only diffrence being sometimes you can pahse and get more kill. On the flip side you can also phase and get killed. Find the one you like and roll with it.
The one thing I will add as an exception is that if you team with stalkers a lot web nade is the [censored].
Duel me.
I will work on my sig pic more when I have time.
Con, stop looking for all the topics that have "PvP" in them.
"One day we all may see each other elsewhere. In Tyria, in Azeroth. We may pass each other and never know it. And that's sad. But if nothing else, we'll still have Rhode Island."
To be fair I search the body as well as the topic tag.

Eh I do the same thing sometimes.

I think that Webnades are better for zones, while Hibernate is better for arena duels. Hibernate in zones will keep you alive for 30 seconds while simultaneously giving every person on the opposing side 30 seconds to prepare to spike you the second it goes down. I see it every night in RV.

Take TP. You can queue TP while in Hibernate. Sure, they can still spike you, but you are now a few hundred yards away and queuing your next TP. Works almost all the time.

Except those 3 blasters waiting for just the right moment to set of their snipe you better tp around a corner quick, real quick. I suggest if your gonna go hibernate take phase instead or go get it from warburg.
Hibernate is a joke in Zone PvP. Drop Radiation Infection and Enervating Field on the Hibernoob, pop a few yellows and reds, park your heavy ontop of them. Do a little dance while you wait and Spike them once Hibernate ends.
It's like a free kill.

Not always, I've seen plenty of times where a hibern00ber has escaped the clutches of death thanks to hibern00b. All it took was a little distraction from his teammates and good timing.
But yea, over half the time, hibernate will only pro-long your death.
I die about 1 in out of 5 hibernates thanks to TP. It takes a whole hero team camping me to kill me (plus heavies of course). Also, this is when I solo.
Teamed is a different story. Camping heroes makes stalker teammates salivate.

Who's brilliant idea was it to give stalkers hibernate anyway? :P

I don't know but I for one love it!
I've died from hibernate maybe a handful of times, most however were in the same day thanks to a /Rad, however DutchRad is the only /Rad I see anymore, and he basically is duels only...

Rad is pretty dirty. I'm still very much a newb when it comes to PvP, I have 5 Procs and the rest of my Enhancements are all Yellow SOs and yet I still have a whole team of heroes chasing after me in Zone because Radiation Emission is just so incredibly devistating. I'm surprised it isn't more popular.
But jumping back on topic, Mace Mastery, without a doubt. Webcacoon+lingering radiation puts most Blasters and Defenders out of comission. You ground a Defender, Blaster they become Stalker,Brute and MM bait and often times than not once they're flight and jump fails them they're initial reaction is to run like hell.
The only reason I would take Leviathan would be for Hibernate and hibernate holds no allure for me what-so-ever. I can't begin to count how many heroes I've taken out because they rely too much on Hibernate to get them out of trouble and then I have to put them on ignore when they spam me with nasty PMs because I drop my toggles on them and camp them till hibernate wears off.
That's zone PvP though, Arena PvP I suppose it may have its advantages but honestly..I'm just going to take a temp phase If I really need to get away.
"Hibernate'll Kill ya!"
Its a torn decision from me, i love mace mastery for zones(who doesn't love being able to drop fliers an webnade everyone, plus focused acc too boot).
I also have found Leviathan to be a lifesaver, but usually only when i use hibernate for about 1/2 its cycle and cue up the temp phase from WB to escape the hibernate afterwards. That has saved me countless times, but its not using hibernate solely by itself. Plus i like the leviathan hold for the -fly effect in it.
Two ways to play it nowadays...Tactics/Hiber build or a Phase/FA build. Either way you need Perception to be really viable in PvP.
Nades are great, res shield puts you at DR cap I believe, so either way you get goodies.
It all boils down to playstyle. I have a lot more phase builds than hiber builds.
Which one would you prefer for pvp?
i have a elec/therm and i cant decide
in my build i have phase shift already so i was wondering if mace mastery would be better for the focused acc and the web nades, and forcused acc gives perception which really makes its a nice power
but having hibernoob is really great for staying alive especially since everyone is going to go after the therm first
what would u guys sugest?
