Wow man! You are a frickin' incredible player!
I'm just going to thank the video game lords that not every nub off the street feels compelled to post their combat logs in this forum.

[/ QUOTE ]Good to see you my favorite troll :P the point of this exercise is to show the devs with actual numbers that what they have created is no better off than what we had, with one exception before it was atleast fun and felt free. So since your incapable of adding anything positive to a thread, you continue to be a Troll it's what you do best. Also i for one find information fun to look at no matter the form. Thanks for adding your spite it shows i'm headed in the right direction.

Hey genius, how does the above prove your point at all?
Since you appear to be lacking in the areas of logic and reason, I'll help you out a bit. Your above post proves absolutely nothing.

[/ QUOTE ]For someone that disagrees with what I'm saying you sure stay with your mouth open. I'll slow it down since you seem to be a downy. This pvp(what we have now, ya know when you log on and play in a zone?) Is not better than what we had months back(ya know when you used to log into a zone?)
I showed i was able to jump into a pack of foes 10+ player controlled toons, score three or so kills, and escape with out being defeated, while not only them but npc heavies attempted me from not doing just that. The original premise was that this new pvp was to stop people from being able to do just that, so all these changes was forced upon us. Where in i12 the rad debuff i encountered and the cold movement debuff , and the fact i was held with not a single BF, would have been enough to keep me there for the kill. Instead i just took my kills and left. Is that plain enough for you dimwit? your the reason the other thread got taken, so say your silly trolling reply to this and Pleasebegone and those who care will chime in and those who don't wont.
Either way you can have the last word, your like a six year old with all this back in forth, if you don't buy into what I'm saying don't add to the thread..simple

Honestly Ravens you are not making any other points clear aside from having killed a few preoccupied heroes and travel suppression sucks.
The thread may have had potential if you put more thought and effort into it, but I give it 2 thumbs down.

After you explained your point, I told you that your "proof" was lacking since it doesn't prove anything.

You probably are the best player this game has ever seen, seriously. I have never heard of a single player killing multiple foes before without dying, either before or after the changes, so this really is news.
I stand corrected, and am willing to bow to your pvp superiority.
I never picked on the kids who took the short bus to school, but they never really talked to me. I feel compelled to respond to you however.

If you can't admit the above is proof that everything I say is 100% accurate, I suggest you get a better education.

[/ QUOTE ]This isn't a random sample, their was another thread with similar info on it, the same people was posting on it so i got lazy when remaking it and didn't restate everything, it was like 8 or 9 pages long of stuff, from people giving examples to people saying their likes and dislike about the new system. But the last page got out of control and it was removed completely not even locked. So this was an attempt to rebuild it the right way with out all the verbal pvping of trolls back in forth.

Oh, I see you edited your OP in attempt to state your actual point. Thank you! That type of thing is actually quite helpful when you start a new topic.

Now today i managed to jump into a pack of 10+ foes kill 3 or so and get out, while being attacked by atleast 9 of them and a heavy.
[/ QUOTE ]
So, you're trying to demonstrate that your character is overpowered now?
You said you sucked (i.e. running away was hard) before the changes and now you're Statesman's gift to pvp. If the devs goal was to help the players that sucked, maybe they succeeded?
Do you have any combat logs showing what a emp/blaster duo could do before the changes? You might find the data interesting, if you have it.

Oh yes, it is definately far far far easier now. Prior to the pvp changes, that combo was almost indistructable in your average zone setup. It's still a tough cookie, sure, but no where near what is was
Ravens - I do enjoy seeing the logs, but like the others mentioned, it really doesn't prove anything.
It's not like that AR/Dev blaster was any real threat. I can't remember the last time I've seen full auto used in PvP other than in a joke video where they were demonstrating camera spins.

Admittedly, after the initial changes and seeing the impact on my therm I really had no desire to play my emp (the server died anyway, so I wouldn't have had anyone to buff!).
Sure, I've killed my fair share of people since the changes, but I don't always take note of their powersets and I don't know whether they were any good before the changes, so I'm not going to go all Raven and claim I have definitive proof one way or the other.
I've played an emp enough to know that running for my life was critical to my survival (don't mislead yourself into thinking I was not highly "skilled" in the fine art of evasion simply because I feel folks overstate the amount of skill involved in evading enemies). I'd be absolutely shocked if the consensus among empathy players is that the increased travel suppression, heal decay, status effect and phase changes have made survival easier for an emp.
If it's easier to kill the emp, which it undoubtedly is, then blasters would have needed a considerable buff to keep that duo's performance on par with what it used to be. Are blasters so much better now that it outweighs the nerf to their emp teammate? Not from what I've seen. The reduced healing/buffing support , increased suppression, status effect and phase changes make blasters easier to kill than they were before.
Sorry ConFlict, I know you answered my question with a question because actually answering my question would either prove yourself wrong or ignorant.
Maybe it's you who haven't tried to kill a lot of emps in the new system? Or, did you not try in the old system?

Actually I am neither good sir, but thanks for your opinion. I pvp probably about as much anybody out there right now. You are applying a lot of theory and casual play into what you think this system is and does. I am here to tell you that you are very wrong on quite a few things. A well played emp or well played pain dom are the two hardest non melee kills in the game atm. In the old days you could toast any emp with alot less effort than it takes now.
Also if you didn't know blasters are even more easy mode than before.
Hows that for answering you now.
Edit: lol you got to know you are screwed when reactor agrees with you.

I might write a guilde on escapes lol, but it seems our old thread mysteriously vanished so this one is along the same lines. It starts in the middle of like 25 or so heroes rping and fighting AV's. So any good stalkers mouth just waters at the thought of heroes occupied fighting other forces of evil (optimum time to strike) so they are all huddled up with heavies fighting GW and a spot a few injuries.

The point of this is to show that this new pvp, has left us in a worst state than what we previously had in i12. The big reason of the so called changes from what i remember was to bring pvp to a level where a casual player can pvp and, weaken those who had their toons all pumped up to be more inline with those that didn't. Also to keep people with a greater control of movement skills and techniques to not easily evade someone that didn't.
Now today i managed to jump into a pack of 10+ foes kill 3 or so and get out, while being attacked by atleast 9 of them and a heavy. This is not a better state than we had before, i was rad debuffed, slowed from cold debuffs, held without any bf's in my tray, and taking damage from multiple foes all at once, and still managed to get out of that. In the old pvp i would have died the second i was slowed or held with no bf's, or from the shear fact their damage would have been at full power, due top no DR.
In the first thread, i showed also just how easy it is to defeat the odds in a similar fashion. So though unlikely, but this is a attempt to show the devs, they may have made a mistake, and maybe help atleast get a i12 option in the arena.
My reasoning is, we have tried everything but numbers, it's a thread like every other day about how the new pvp isn't a fan fav, but we don't get any responses. So rather than giving up, i figured i'd atleast try this. If someone eles has a better idea, than implement it, what ever works at this point is my stance.
The funny thing is, even though you seem like one of the whiners that got the changes made in the first place, you're probably still bad..------Macskull on Crop_of_shaolin
