Bubble Helmets for the Super Science Pack

Read some mention of Super Science being the next booster pack. Was wondering what it might include. Sure would love to see some kind bubble, jar, or dome helmet, preferably with the option to have it filled with some colorable fluid. And maybe a brain to float inside it!

A simple fishbowl helmet as a shoulder item would be absolutley brilliant.

It would clip with some hairstyles, but we already have hairstyles clipping with certain collars and capes. Leave that to the player to reconcile.

I added that to Jay's costume request thread a LONG time ago. Would be nice to see ... but I'm not holding my breath.

Brain in a Jar ala Clockwork King please...

...if you want to keep him unique...remove the eyeballs and have just a brain...don't ask how it sees...it's just cool!

I highlighted that phrase because I wonder how many 1,000s of hours of both Devs' and players' time could have been saved over the years if the Devs had been more willing to give us more options and let us players "reconcile" what clipped with what and/or looked fine anyway. Clearly the Devs are way, way too conservative about what they let us play with and have wasted far too much effort keeping us 'safe' from potential clips that are -not- that big a deal.

Given the amazing things that we are able to build in the base editor now that we can overlap things and not worry about pathing, I would think that they would see that the players are capable of designing things that don't clip in terrible ways. Some clipping would actually lead to some ideas working better (I can't think of any off the top of my head, but I know there are a few looks that could be great that are not allowed).

Anyway, yeah, I wish the costume editor would break like the base editor did.

break?

Yep. My first character to earn a cape had the "Glam" hairstyle, which clips really badly with capes.

I was mildly disappointed for less than a minute, then gave her a ponytail when she wore her cape costume. Problem solved.

By me, the player.

Nice.
I've wanted bubble helmets for a long time.
Your extras are great additions!

I can only hope that this will come to be.

I want one of those old fashioned deep sea diver helmuts and a gorilla suit.

Yeah I've been watching really bad sci-fi movies.

Yes, break. The ability to easily stack things and place objects inside other objects was not intentional. Therefore, I want the costume editor to "break" in that same way so that we'd be able to just use whatever costume piece we want and not have to worry about restrictions.

Now that sir would be sexy. Combine that with a stop sign if they ever give us "Lost" costume pieces.

Hey, what's the name of that movie? I want to see if they ever released the MST3K episode of it.

[/ QUOTE ]On the contrary, they deliberately removed the restrictions, so it was very intentional.

The ability to stack things previous to the removal of the raid pathing and bounding boxes wasn't intentional (and you couldn't put objects inside other objects). But neither was it very easy. (Any monkey can learn how to stack things with the 'new' setup.)

Since rading was being temporally disabled they removed all he things restricted for balance. I believe the comment was made that when raiding comes back you could either keep a non raidable easily customizable base or follow the pathing rules...or all the non function items get virtually no hit points and fix themselves after a raid I forget.

For the Superscience Booster pack, I'd like to see a Stained/Dirty/Bloody Lab Coat. My mad scientist's lab coat seems disturbingly clean for a mad scientist!
