What's wrong with the word round? Orb and spherical both mean round,sorry just struck me as odd.

(Besides, an egg is round, but not spherical. So they don't actually mean quite the same thing.)

Basically, I'm looking to make a guy with white skin and a head shaped sort of like a full moon. Obviously, a true sphere isn't doable, But if I can contract the bottom and top while expanding the middle, I can hopefully pull it off.

A tire is round too, but definitely not spherical.
Round is the shape in 2 dimensions, Length and Width.
Spherical is the shape in 3, Length, Width, and Depth.
So no, they do not mean the same thing.

Circular is a shape in two dimensions. Round is just a description. In fact, the first entry in Wikipedia's disambiguation page for "Round" is "the shape of a circle or sphere". So it works in multiple dimensions.

I didn't use the word "round" because the human cranium is already rather round. Imagine all the snappy replies that would have invited! The human head is not, however, shaped like a sphere or orb.
Anyway, I didn't spot a forum specifically for the topic of character design, so I thought I'd ask here. Guess nobody's tried to pull it off before me!

Depending on whether or not you want "facial features" on this orb-like head, the easiest way to get what you're asking is to use the Full Helmet option and choose the Round sub-option. You can then put a goggle of some sort on that is flush with the helmet, and use the Reaper head detail to "cover up" a majority of the lower portion, giving your character a head that's somewhat reminiscent of Mysterio.
Barring that, I really haven't tried anything else.

a Round Head? I know how to do this. Stick your thumb in your mouth and blow. Keep inflating till its the proper size, but dont overinflate or hang around kids with peashooters or its splat for you.
