Dominator Primaries

Hi Castle,

Are you gonna take a look at Dom Primaries? There's a lot of inconsitencies between them, especially relating to -kb effects. Things like frostbite from ice/* nullify set defining powers like ice slick.

Grav's -kb on the hold is also somewhat counter to having lift present in the set.

Are you taking a look at dom primaries or are the changes gonna be about secondaries only?

He standardized lift, jeez what more could you want?

*more or less just bumping this, as I'd also like to know if he intends to look at making the primaries better, or at least more intuitive.

Oh yeah, Earth's AoE immob cancels the KB from Earthquake too. Doesn't Plant's AoE immob cancel KB from Carrion Creepers as well?

Heck, Carrion Creepers negates the knockdown from Carrion Creepers.

Yes, yes it does.. I still love that about that power, the ironies.

It's why I slotted Kinetic Crash into it.

Damage Proc Mini-FAQ

Just noticed Damage Proc Mini-FAQ wasn't working with new forums, it's been updated.

If I could add one thing to the Dom revamp it would be a standardization of the cast time on the holds. Maybe the ST immobs too. When I say standardization I mean towards the low end of current cast times, not all Doms having a 2+ second hold cast time. I doubt that's an option though since the would be animation work instead of just tweaking values in spreadsheets.

I don't think Castle has the time to look at the control sets, and I don't think anyone wants to cause the sort of upset that would certainly result.

Don't forget the buff to Confuse from this patch, activation time down to 2 seconds. Yay!

Powers don't nullify KB.... Players do.

Even if powers did, -KB effects never last as long as the Immobile/Hold. Count 4 mississippi... then lift!

edit: Nevermind. I realize OP probably wasn't looking for advice... just a fix. My bad

"Situational power? Sure. Although in a sense... all powers are situational. It's just that some situations occur more than others." Understand the situation needed in order for the power to be most effective... and make that situation happen.

The problem isn't just the damage in lift, it is that you can't knock up ( ) a held target.

[/ QUOTE ] At some point that would be nice. But I'd like to see the current changes doms are facing go through smoothly and not poorly, before more is added to it.
