We had a incident with GW so we had our fist death there, then we had a lot of trouble with LR, but our team was bound and determined to finish so we buckled down made a INSP run and finished it. All in all the team was great, no quitters on that team, just fighters !!!

Just meeting a PUG group and hoping for a Masters seems quite improbable. Don't get me wrong, it can happen on any given day... but HIGHLY unlikley. Me and my associates will be ramping up our nightly STF runs very soon and teaching STF's to a lot of new players soon. So hopefully you meet a few that are interested in STF's and it helps you out sometime down the road. NIGHTLY STF'S FTW!!!
Not many pugs there, many of us have done the TF many times and have the badge. there were 4 on my team last night that i've teamed with before

ok. I dont feel what i said was enough. EverStryke, If you have a problem with our MoSTF runs keep it to yourself. We are 63 weeks+ strong and we do it well. We take anyone and we make teams work because thats more fun that a group made just for the badge with a pitty spot for someone to give the badge to. I thank you to start your own event and make your own posts than hijacking my events thread and saying were not good enough. What makes us great is we are PuGs and we still make it work.

I started doing Master Saturday back at something like #10, I think. It took a few months of me plugging away at it, until my blaster got the badge. After she got it, I switched to my controller, and he got the badge on the third time out.
I then helped on the next thirty or so Master Saturdays. Yes, every team doesn't get the badge every Saturday. Some do. Some weeks, only one out of three teams got it. Master Saturday is a PuG of sorts, but doing a PuG with some folks who know what to do is far better than one where nobody knows.
The important thing in getting the badge is that the team act together as a unit and stick together. You're not responsible only for yourself, but for your teammates, as well.

I'm one of those who got the MoSTF badge. My badge hunter is a Blaster and I was pretty skeptical about getting this for her, but a number of runs later, I got it, and the next run with my Tank, I got it there too. Fortunately it was before my schedule changed.
But, yes, all PuGs. a lot of the people are the same, (The people 'running' it) but I wasn't known to anyone when I turned up and I didn't know the people I was teaming with. It does work, with patience. It won't happen every run, but it will get you there if you stick with it and put in your best team effort.
EverStryke, but what you don't know is that we have team leaders who have a lot of experience in making Master runs. We've got enough people who show up that we can create reasonable teams (and many of our regulars have multiple alts they can switch to). And the leaders are used to both explaining the strategy clearly, walking through things slowly.
So it is a PUG, but it's not "first 7 people to send tell, we're gonna go for a master run".
And are we guaranteed success? Nope. I'd say my success rate is about 50% on these runs, maybe a little less. Accidents happen at the tree, Scirocco's aoe can sometimes take someone out, Ghost Widow can cage the tanker and then go after someone else, sometimes Mako just turns for no damn good reason, and Recluse is a bear until the towers are down (particularly if he's spawning lots of banes). But those can happen if you've been on 12 STFs with the exact same team.
Just remember, there are random PUGs, and there are crafted and led PUGs. they aren't all the same.

I promise I wont drag this on, but I think one of the things that makes Sat night runs cool and exciting is the fact that we DONT know everyone.
We could take our SG (Sphere) on a MoSTF and I would give us a 99% chance of success, but Sat nights arent meant for that.
I have had many occasions where I had a less than optimal team (on paper) turn out to be a fantastic team of great players. Gathering a team of strangers and getting through a master run with a success is a great success!
