Someone make me a Costume!!

I won't design one, but I can give suggestions.
Try a hat. A nice hat. And a domino mask.
I made one up for you and sent it to you in PM. It's a color (and a few other) tweak of the goto costume I use for all of my characters. I didn't do anything with the weapons because I wasn't sure what origin you were and that's something that's pretty concept based.
In order to see what it looks like, just copy-paste it into notepad and save it as a .costume file in the Costumes file of City of Heroes. You'll then be able to open it and alter it just like any other saved costume.
Well, assuming I'm not "too late", here's something I came up with. I realize you wanted "dark" colors, but I had to throw in a third contrasting color to keep it interesting, but it's a darker shade of said color so hopefully it's acceptable. I just kept the scales untouched and I didn't bother with the blade customization since that's personal preference/concept driven anyhow.
Costume
Hopefully, it's readable. The shot taken was darker than my screen is, and I really hope the lines I put in directing to the color combinations aren't too confusing. 
Main Hero : Annilixxion -- Lv50 Blaster
Main Villain : Menkaura -- Lv41 Mastermind

I should have mentioned that the only expansions that I have is the Valkery (or howeveer you spell it) expansion, though I think I will have to look into getting the magic one.

I love playing so I had a little play this morning. Here's what I came up with. It can be tweaked quite a lot to taste. If you like the basis, I can PM the costume text.

(Some of the colour differences don't show up too well in those photos - the chest particularly.)

The good thing about the costume I came up with is that the cape isn't required at all. It still looks okay without it. Just, to me, when you say "mysterious" costume.. I think of a long flowing cape and I was trying to avoid the trench boat. 
I do wish my screenshot wasn't so dark, though.

I personally use Alt+PrintScreen myself out of habit, but just plain old PrintScreen probably works anyway. What happens is your screenshot is saved to the clipboard, so you can just Ctrl+V it into something like Paint and do what you want with it from there.

Laxx I may have to borrow elements of the one you made for a character i'm making. I've been trying to put together a good costume taht looks like ... well for lack of a better word a throw together. Something a 17 year old could put together in his basement to fight crime. Something that doens't require fancy pads or spandex or a big awesome mask you know?

Hey All,
Ok, I have to admit my costume creator skills are aweful, and I keep making the same type of costume over and over again (usually with a trenchcoat and tatto'd arms) so I was hoping that some of you, with skills and who like to do it, would not mind designing a costume for me, a challenge if you will.
The character in question is a DB scrapper, so I'm looking for a "dark, mysterious" scrapper look, think batman, or the punisher kinda thing (as an idea of what I am looking for, not an actual costume design).
Note: Toon MUST have long hair/ponytail, and again use a dark palette.
If anyone would like to post your interpretation of my idea I would really appricate it.
