nope. all you have to do to have a title is click on one of the badges in your badge window. nothing special about them.
Some titles are the names of badges.
Some titles are temporary and given out by devs during special events.
Some titles are chosen by players at certain levels and are permanent descriptive adjectives. Levels 15 and 25.

The "Title" under the name is a badge name.
A "Title" over the name is a slected title that becomes available at level 16 (first word) and 26 (second word) and is chosen by going to the trainer. The available words are somewhat determined by origin.
A "yellow" title (over the character name) is given out by Devs, most typically at an event. That's the only one that's kinda "special". For example, during the anniversary event on April 28, some of the Devs and Community Reps were handing them out to everyone they saw participating in the event that day. Those titles lasted for a month and are gone now, I think.

the forum title under your forum name comes from the post count you have. after a certain amount of posts you will get a title. after so many more it will change and so on. and no, just because you have a second account doesn't mean anything will happen.

No I got Mod Smacked and my title was removed for being a bad girl. You would have the normal title.
edited to add I had a special title that is why it got removed.

It's nothing to do with addtional accounts - what PhillyGirl is saying is that her other account used to have a special title - and that title was pulled. When they did that, they did it "wrong", apparently, leaving her a special title of " " vs. the standardized "Recruit" or "Legend", etc, according to post counts as listed in the board FAQ linked to just under the board header.

No - the forum title is usually based on the number of posts - OP, your forum title is "Trainee".
For some people, the moderators have given out additional or substitute titles, such as "FF Guru", or "P.E.R.C. Rep" based on contributions to the forum community.
Philly's having a second account has ZERO to do with these titles and is very specific to her situation. The title for your second account would depend on how much you post on that one as opposed to the one you used for this thread.

You can get them from contest too,like I did.
There are requests made for temporary titles for contests held I believe it's mostly PERC that has requested these. I think yours was the one Hawkeyed held.
