Doc Delilah played a part in the defeat of the Lesbian Hellion takeover of Atlas Park --- but now she finds herself missing one of them. She is calling for your help in breaking one out of jail.

But in doing so, you will uncover corrupt influence on the Paragon Police force, and ultimately confront one of history's most sinister figures.

This is a sequel to the banned arc, "Monstrous Regiment of Lesbian Hellions". That arc was banned because Lesbian Hellions were the enemy you were supposed to defeat. Here, however, they are allies. What you need to know of its plot is explained in the introduction to this story - Doc Delilah was captured by Lesbian Hellions, and they supposedly used mind control powers to make her side with them. The truth proved to be slightly more complicated.

I played the original Lesbian Hellion arc. It was funny, but I _knew_ some doofus would complain and get it banned. Sadly, the same will probably happen here.

The official grounds stated for banning the first arc was that it "involved going out to defeat enemies because of their sexual orientation." Which in one sense it was, even if in intent it was more complex and nuanced than that.

Those grounds have been scrupulously avoided in the new one.

My lvl 50 scrapper, Ms Pris, was happy to redeem herself after the role she once played in busting the Doc and the Lesbian Hellions.

After having played a number of your AE arcs, I've become very curious about your day job, and what do you have against innocent post-modernists? We're not all evil. Though I'm more of a social constructionist than a hard-core pomo.

I'm going to replay the World's Great Philosophers with my psi/sonic controller, La Theorie, who uses the power of poststructuralism to deconstruct the metanarrative of evil.

I used my BA in international studies to become a pointy-head intellectual professor. It doesn't pay well, but it's generally good fun (except for students who can't write).

I think this actually goes back to one of the first 12 City of Heroes comics (with Apex and War Witch)--there was a leather-clad female character who I think was a Hellion (it's been a very, very long time), who was basically sporting the stereotypical "lesbian haircut #2" and there were other indicators that she was lesbian.
