The Challenge...
So you are paying someone money to make you...a farming build in Mid's with the afformentioned powers. Why not just do it yourself? It takes like 15 minutes...
Lack of Skillz? Apparently we're talking about someone who
1) Played one build, twelve times, to level 50, and
2) Doesn't know how to [or doesn't choose to] transfer inf.
Not everyone knows how to do everything, but that does seem to be an unusually narrow and deep playstyle.
I refuse for the following reasons:
* 30% def to all three positionals is missing the point of blasters. Even if it's doable, it's a stupid waste of resources.
* I don't want to encourage pointless dead-end gameplay.

All gameplay is pointless dead-end gameplay. Thats the point of it.
And I'd disagree that Blasters have one true point or purpose.
Some are more Controller-ish, some are more AoE death machine or single target, why not try to make a Super Reflexes Blaster when we do have the tools to do so?
This seems harmless enough. The boards are full of people who enjoy tweaking numbers and making hypothetical builds. And its not as if the Chosen One can do much else with his influence after a certain point - why not give it away in a contest? This is no different to a costume contest.

Ya know, I really wanted to put it in too.... However, I was attempting to meet the challenge first, going to make another build to see if I can still meet the criteria and fit that in as well. Thats part of the fun of making builds too meet certain criteria though is moving away from the norm and making power choices that you might not normally. Although I must admit I would love to have fit it in, I could drop aim and put it there and place a Dam/Acc HamiO in there....but if I take any slots this will no longer meet the requirements and I would love to add slots to it.

Here's my version. I tossed out Fire Breath and Rain of Fire so it's got a bit less AoE (though Fireball, PsyScream, Shockwave is gonna hurt some face), but I managed to get in Blaze and the Fitness pool plus a lower end cost overall from not having Maneuvers.
(The open slot is for the Gladiator's Defense 3% +def IO, same as Sonic's second SteadfastProt 3% +def)

The only thing I saw that could be better is instead of using the Defense IO in weave you might as well go for the Defense/Endurance IO from luck of the gambler. The defense difference isn't great enough to help or hurt the build. Im assuming this is using the defense IO from the PvP IO right? I vote for your build and I have learned a very important lesson: "Never make a build while tired or rush it while tired" XD

Yeah, just realized after you told me that I left that in there. It's .1 defense or 13.6 hit points. Neither is particularly noticeable, though.
Uh, no. I'm not going to have you pay me to come up with a build for you to copy exactly because you A) don't know how to build a blaster and need someone else to do it for you, or B) are too lazy to open Mid's and do it yourself.
If you had asked for advice on a Fire/MM build and not come out and said "make me a build to copy" I might have been more inclined to throw you one.
Since I play on Pinnacle it would only be 100 milion anyway.

Who cares if he or anyone else copies the build. If someone makes a good one that people want to use then let them. A build can only really do so much in the end cause it take practice and time with the set, AT, and build itself to get good with it and even then some things can and need to be tweaked.
Anywho, back on topic, the bonus HP may not be noticeable but putting some end reduction into weave does help though.

Umbral in your build you had Health, Stamina, and Drain Psyche, wouldn't drain psyche be enough.

If you want more defense you could cut out 3 attacks from fire and add combat jumping, super jump, acrobatics, but I like having lots of attacks.
I'm going to say up front, that this does not meet the AoE defense mentioned in your challenge. So, if that disqualifies me, so be it. I love trying builds out in Mids. Anyway, this build took me about 20 minutes and I could make it better in time but what I've got here is:
From the challenge:
-All the powers you requested.
-30.7 Melee and Ranged Defense (AoE is only 19.4)
-87.5 Global Recharge before Hasten
However, since you mentioned farming, I've tweaked the build to be very efficient for custom AE Boss farms and Battle Maiden. This is what it sacrificed the AoE Defense for:
-45.6 S/L Defense. That means you're softcapped to S/L. Only 1/20 S/L attacks will land.
-Drain Psyche, with just 5 targets, will give you 50 HP/S, enough to take you from 1-100% in just 30 seconds, and with 8 targets hit by Drain Psyche, you could drop an Inferno and still be able to recover Endurance. Drain Psyche will only have an approximate downtime of 4 seconds which would probably be spent mopping up the spawn or traveling between spawns. Therefore, you'd have no need for Hasten, whatsoever.
-With Hoarfrost, you have a self heal that can be used for emergencies and can also cap your HP most of the time if you're too lazy to get Accolades.
-WoC will also allow you to mitigate some damage as well, since it's slotted with the contagious confusion proc.

That's fair to point out. I knew this but, just incase the OP wasn't too familiar with game mechanics, I wanted to try and point out the significance of it.
Anyway, it means to the OP that compared to 30% Positional defense, against S/L opponents, he'll be hit far far less and only take a fraction of the damage. And I didn't sacrifice Melee or Ranged Defense, only AoE.

It could be (emphasis on could), but the OP asked for Stamina. Personally, I'm not that big of a fan of Drain Psyche. It requires that I get in the middle of a large group of enemies and, even with this much defense, that's not going to guarantee you stay alive. It's perfectly fine for a blapper (though */MM is sadly lacking in really good blapper powers) that expects themselves to be in melee already, but, if you're hovering around the edge and letting loose with ranged attacks, it's going to take time out of your damage to get the buff back.

The challenge this week is to make a fire/mm blaster build with (at minimum) 30% to all positional defenses,
80% global recharge, and must have Hasten, Fire Ball, PSW,Psi scream, and a travel power...Stamina is not a MUST but i would like him to be a efficient farmer when i get bored with my fire/kin...
