  1. Awesome! : )

I put the lamps in because of that image, it was the perfect way to decorate the water walkway area and provide good mood lighting! My thought is the same: it looks like a willow tree!
  2. Thanks!

It was more a stroke of luck than planning that it turned out that way with the painting, but the height is perfect and even with the rest of the false walls and painting areas so everything turned out great I think!
  3. I finished work on my own small art gallery-esque room recently for the purpose of actually using some of the veteran items we get. Here's a link to an album with six pictures of different angles of the floorspace, maybe you can get something from them:

You do know how many years it's been that people have begged for something as simple as a "blank" SG emblem? Right? That to me is about as easy as it gets and yet...

I mean nothing against you personally but at what point do you just say "I am going to stop calling out cause nobody is answering". [edit add: I'm at the point where "the shoe is on the other foot". Show me some results (any results) and I'll believe you even care].
I was more playing devil's advocate than anything. Someone has to.

Me personally: I'm of the opinion that we've pretty much gotten all we'll get. It's time to suck it up and deal with it.

I find this statement to be a bit odd. Granted I can understand the frustration of seeing a whole new system implemented instead of an old system getting some updates; however, I don't think the above is the case.

Certainly Issues 19, 20 and 20.5 are focused on Incarnate stuff in the same way Issues 14 and 15 were focused on the Mission Architect. The thing is after Issue 15 the MA took to the backseat or the roof if we're honest. Now I'm not naive enough to believe that the Incarnate stuff will end up next to the MA, it most definitely has dibs on shotgun; however, that doesn't mean that the devs are "charting a course" or focusing solely on Incarnate content. In-fact it's been pretty much confirmed at Issue 21 will have little to do with Incarnate slots or content at all. According to the May 2011 Producer's letter it'll be focused on a new zone and revamping of old lower level zones which tells me that they get that end-game can't be THE game.

The most amazing thing about it is that War Witch has famously said that revamping old zones takes as long to do as a new zone and she'd rather the team focus on new zones yet reportedly they're doing both next issue. That's a case of a developer team understanding that while new zones are great we all fell in love with the old ones too, and they could use some attention. Bases are no different. Yes, bases have been long ignored, they're in the third row of the City of... van but that doesn't mean they've been forgotten. It just takes more time for the calls of this community to cut through the noise of every other one.

So don't stop calling out, continue to, respectfully of course. Eventually we will be heard. And even if it's several small things (Like addressing various low-hanging fruit) it's still something. We don't need to seek out the Hail Mary, the last chance play to win it all, we're only in the first quarter and this MMO more than anything is a game of inches. A little here and a little there and soon we'll be near the end-zone.
  6. The e-mail pushed through and I figured I'd once again thank Fulmens for the donation, it'll help me finish things up in my own base and I appreciate that!
  7. I like Eisenzahn am my SG but I will be sure to advertise in my global channels! This is a great thing you're doing Fulmens, I'll be sure to give a little too, thanks for the inadvertant kick in the pants!

    Black Ops on Pinnacle!
  8. I had this happen to me 10 or so days ago. It had zero to do with any graphics settings on my system the Slow Field just appeared as more of a fog than anything. I checked it today and it was back to normal, no changes on my part, it was just 'fixed'.

    Gah! WTH?!?

Ok I'm not the only one then? Good, I was afraid my network was acting up again.

I love the burst of 1778 damage that is highly unresisted, it's just b-e-a-uuutiful.
  11. I absolutely hate when that happens.

    Keep us updated, good luck!
  12. It's most likely the Miyuki Gravel floor texture set to a bright red primary and secondary color. You raise the floor up one then spin the camera so you can see the ceiling through the floor then place the bonfire.

It's not accurate unless you place items as markers that can't be stacked on, which'll help you pinpoint where the bonfire will land. Hope that helps!
  13. Stacker, the teleporter room is amazing, and I want to try something similar in my own base but I can't figure out what item(s) you have undernearth the holding tanks. What is it?

  14. Way to be Silver, congratulations

    Guys...

Samuel L. Jackson wouldn't shut up about them at last months party.
  16. My problem with Ice Arrow and Smoke Flash is my lack of using them when I had them. They are both great powers, but I just didn't use them all that much. Granted I used Ice Arrow far more than I did Smoke Flash (I snagged it to replace a power I used even less; Aid Self) that still wasn't much. I'll look into it again though.

I thought the Pet IOs worked by making a PBAoE aura on me, wouldn't that mean it could affect all my pets not just the pet it's slotted in? And would they even be practical since I'm always at range (Close enough for Supremecy)?

I do still have Assault in the third build (Taken at level 49) Tactics was skipped though, I understand it's a 10% ToHit boost but how does that translate in the scheme of things to the pets?

Thanks for all the help and putting up with me. Despite having this guy and leveling him up to 50 pre-AE I find myself clueless as to his inner-workings. I appreciate all the help!
  17. I figure Assault couldn't hurt, but I'm not sure what I'd take instead since I opted to go with Hurdle/Swift/Ninja Run for my pseudo-travel power (I did snag Hasten at level 8 though). Any other suggestions?

I might, Pinnacle is developing a nice, lax PvP environment so I have the chance to!
  18. Ok, I read over it all and here's what I came up with (Third time's a charm):

  20. I've been looking over my Nin/TA MM and I can never seem to find a build in Mid's I'm happy with.

The goal is to make this MM survivable, capable of keeping a fight controlled using /TA, and able to hold his own long enough to resummon pets in-case they fall. Here's what I've got:

Anything you guys see that could be improved I'd greatly appreciate be told about. Thanks in advance!
  21. I've been following this thread for awhile, and it just blows me away. You are great at this kind of stuff!
  22. In my albiet little experience with Stalkers I'd go with Elec/Nin. I'm running the same combo and at level 21 he's one of the most fun villains I've ever played.

The set is an AoE beast, and I think that'd go well with Stone/ and Ice/. You'll help flesh out the AoE on a team that would otherwise be lackign in that field.
  23. Wow, thank you for all the info! I really appreciate it!
