Going Rogue and Soldiers of Arachnos - Side Switch
Warburg gas rogue Arachnos, so I don't see why SoAs can't switch.

I have only two VEATS (odd, as I'm an altoholic and love the classes). One will switch, if allowed. One will not.
Lily "BloodLily" Preston is not an Arachnos loyalist, she's a patriot. She signed up for the arduous Night Widow program not out of any affection for Recluse and the Arachnos organization, but as a way to best train and equip herself to defend her beloved Iles d'Etoiles. If she sees Arachnos become a threat to her homelands, she will turn against it in a heartbeat.
Cassandra Fortune, on the other hand, is loyal to the core. Beneath the false front of a fumbling, distracted academic lies a powerful Fortunata Mistress, ready to destroy any threat to her Patron (Ghost Widow) and the organization itself. She not only would never even think of turning coat, she would relentlessly seek and destroy any who did.
I'm tellin' ya, GR is going to be epic for us RP'ers! =)

It is my place to stand.
We few shall carry hope
Within our bloodied hands."
I think switching sides makes perfect sense for Soldiers of Arachnos. They've already basically gone renegade from the power structure of Arachnos to act as they see fit, from there it's not really that big a leap to imagine they've decided to go all the way and shack up with the heroes.
I'm just afraid that the devs will come out and say SoA and Khelds can't switch sides.
No what I am afraid will happen is all the other ATs will be able to swap sides and EATs will be allowed to swap sides "coming soon!" (registered trademark).

Positron's interview said that all ATs will be able to change allegiance.

Hallelujah!
Well, I can sleep easier tonight.
He never comes right out and says specifically that they will be able to, but if you read the interview you can interpret anyone will be able to take any AT to Paragon City and vice versa, or something to that effect. I would have to find the interview again.

I've rolled a new SoA (planning to make him a Bane Spider) in preparation for Going Rogue. The missions from Westin Phipps involving Hugo really interested me, with the hive-mind and such, so I figured I'd make a character in a situation similar to Hugo's.
@Amarlex in game, on the Virtue server.

Yeah I think it's freaking WIN. It makes perfect sense anyway. Soldiers of Arachnos shouldnt be about being ebil, but they are in fact ebil, by playing both sides for the most personal gain.

The word is evil, there is no b in it.
and ebil just looks silly and makes
the one posting it look a little dumb.
As to going rogue and side switchin SoAs
I pray that we can't switch, though I'll
guess we can. Its one of the aspects of
the going rogue that will likely be my
end of this game.

What's the problem with it? What are Soldiers of Arachnos going to fight that they don't already? Rularuu?

actually theres a mish in nerva that lets you take some on, from tech nylor.
