Bah, seriously I want a base.
My usual solution of "throw inf at it til I buy it" is supposed to work.
I normally don't play on Freedom.
I rolled a scrapper today, levelled him to 10, formed a SG, and made a bunch of padders on my second account.

Well, if you throw a couple hundred million into the inf-to-prestige grinder, you can get a small box with a storage container in it. Maybe even less money than that.

You can use my base if you like .. we created the SG long ago, but almost all the members are inactive now. I just keep it out of Nostalgia.

Helped a friend buy such a SG on Freedom not too long ago. She got a moderately built base with enough prestige to build I believe a 4-porter transportation room, control, energy, and a couple enh. storage tables. Cost less than 30M influence, if I recall. I paid for it, because she didn't have much inf on the server and she had funded me on Champion when I was so poor I was about to quit CoH out of frustration.
No, I don't think you'll be so fortunate as to get such a SG and base for that kind of price. I'm kind of surprised she was able to.

I think people decide to sell them when they truly don't want the SG and have come to perceive it as a burden. I've seen several SG's go pretty cheap. I bought a VG on Infinity, fully equipped and with about 2.5 million prestige left over, for 80 million.

Just FYI, I'm temporarily taking up HeyTiny's offer to let me use a workshop room for myself, but I'm still looking for a base for my exclusive use. My heroside marketeer is only 22 so he can only store 60 pieces of salvage. I'm having to use my market slots to store some of the rares I've stocked up on, so I'm missing out on several million everytime I log on.
Lavitae, if you get the SG to about 310k prestige, that's really all I'll need for a workshop room with a bunch of salvage racks, an enhancement bin, and a crafting table.

Pro-tip, 15 members makes 300k prestige, if you have any friends with alts, or anyone with alts they dont play, it can get you the prestige quite easily.
I posted this in the base builder forum as well, but I'm buying stuff so I suppose it fits for The Market forum, too.
Anyway, I started marketeering on heroside and need space to store salvage and enhancements. If you have a small SG base or an SG with enough prestige to craft a workshop room for several salvage racks I'm interested in buying it.
In exchange, I have plenty of infamy and some influence, so I'm willing to pay one or the other or a combination of the two. PM me or reply if you're interested.
