I'd have to say that the league was meant to be fun. Although it would be nice to have a referee at the rescheduled matchs watching.. I don't think it's very necessary. Unless you feel that there is a problem with the ethics of another team, then I think it would be best to have someone there. Otherwise, not totally necessary.
Team rescheduling is hard as it is. Throw in a referee in there.. and trying to get him in the match to watch it... makes it harder.
Real life does go on... but we all knew that these matches were supposed to be on Sunday at 2pm HST (yeah that's right, I put Hawaii time on darn it!). So, if you can't make the match... for courtesy sake.. since we all know whom we are going to face on Sunday... perhaps an offline tell or posting on the forum telling the other team that you would be facing off that you won't be there would be a nice gesture? This way the other team doesn't have to wait around wondering what is going on. Also, this ettiquite would help Buck, JK and Ninja with not having to answer tells saying.. "hey, our opponents didn't show up.. what do we do, what do we do?"... they are already busy keeping score and stuff.

Funk, I have never met you, but I have been in RV when you have done some of your "shenanigans". I can honestly say it's stuff like that that keeps me from PvPing on a grand scale. I was content to simply sit on the sidelines and watch all you pvp people talk smack and gank each other and not get involved, but then you got nasty with EnnVee.
Yes EnnVee may have been a little blunt and a little cruel, but to say her opinion doesn't matter is BULLS***! I genuinely took interest in the PvP league when it was first started but when I hear that this is being carried out the way it is and that those who might join in the future but for now aren't participating, "don't matter", and our input isn't valued, this seriously turns me off. Buck, I hope that Funk doesn't represent the majority of the PvP league, or even the PvPEC. I know he is not on it but I do hope your people do not adopt the same attitude as Funk. This kind of attitude disgusts me and makes me want to never PvP again. I am still interested in maybe joining round 2 but only if this kind of behavior is no longer tolerated.

I'm baffled why anyone would think that cause nothing has been said to the contrary. Keep me and my team out of any drama or false claims. Cause as well all know internets=srs biznaz.

The only reason I had a problem with the toggle debuff rule was because people would bum rush and stand right next to me after respawning and then complain if I put snowstorm on them.

We tried unsuccessfully to get team KGB together for a rematch, so not sure what's up with them. One of their guys didn't know they were even in a league. They tend to be on a little later at night, which validates my point of a rep needing to be present ridiculous.
Also to address the "drama"...
I offered my services to @neuronia and @james donner when their teammate was banned from the game, which they accepted. We showed up last sunday and had a nice clean fun match with WW,Chibi, and Moldy. I haven't even been in Rv this week, so whatever has barron and enn-vee's panties are in a bunch about that they feel the need to start drama in the league thread is beyond me. Apparantly they are new to pinnacle and don't quite understand how pvp on pinnacle works yet in the zones, but i would suggest that they feel free to make any anti-xfunk threads in the proper forum instead of this one, since sending an in game tell to air any grievances apparantly isn't an option for them. I'm in the league to have fun and like i said, i participated in one match. People spreading rumors about teams of my own VG quitting the league because i would kick them from the VG are not only untrue, but laughable.
That being said, since enn-vee is not a member of this league, and seems to represent Barron, i would like to make a formal complaint against them here, calling upon the rules from page 1....
CODE OF CONDUCT
It is expected that all members will uphold the following Code of Conduct, as participating in the Pinnacle PvP League. Conflicts or concerns should be addressed personally and privately, in a respectful manner, if at all possible. Conflict mediation is also available, if requested or necessary, from the League Founders.
All members are required to follow the EULA.
Extreme griefing or individual harassment of a player participating in the Pinnacle PvP League is non-tolerable. We do understand there will be playful banter or small "trash talk" will occur between some teams, but extreme instances will not be tolerated.
Because i believe that in the league setting i have been a victim of individual harassment. Their supposed conflicts and concerns have no been dealt with privately or personally except to mudsling in an inappropriate place, even recruiting other people also not in the league to fuel the flames.
Any further comments on this issue not related to the pvp league can either be handled to me in game @xfunk or you can start up one of those anti-nites threads that everyone knows is srs bsnss

Garent, when you are OAS you are indeed Immobilized for 10 seconds, with a "Phase" status indicated by the game engine. Pretty much the only thing you can do is retoggle yourself. You may be able to buff your teammates (Haven't been in a situation where all three teammates would be defeated at the same time yet) but unsure of that. Others can fire attacks at you but they will read "Unaffected".

1. Buck addressed 3 rules about turtling spawn camping and inspirations. That is final!
2. Reps are to be informed of when rescheduals are, and when they take place. We Might not show, but we might show. If both teams are in pocket D, and a rep isn't on, send one of us an offline tell saying "were about to have a rematch". When the match is over post the winner. This is Final!
We as reps are big boys and We can contact both teams to make sure they actually fought.
3. As it is stated in the sub pool description: SUB POOL
The Pinnacle PvP League includes a list of City of Heroes/ City of Villain players wish to help other teams out in case they are short players for an league event. Subs can be part of other Pinnacle PvP League Teams, or SG mates, or players just willing to lend a hand.
Sub's are just that subs. This is a friendly league, if people are short, and you would like to help them out, then I'll be damned if I'm going to stand in the way and say no cause your on another team. This whole this is to promote PvP as a whole.
Lasty, Keep your drama off this thread. Enn-vee's First Post was her thoughts, and funks first post were his thoughts. Thank you for contributing your ideas, But keep the Drama off this thread. We are adults and if you want to go into this whole he said she said BS, I for one will not tolerate it. This should have been handled in PM's or in Tells and not for everyone on this server, Let alone the other severs looking at our league as a example for their own.
