Thanks for the link StarGeek, I didn't even think about checking paragonwiki. And thanks for the quick response.
Many (possibly most) of them are currently broken and simply say, "Nice day, isn't it?"

Anyone know if it is a bug that they all now say "nice day, isn't it?" instead of the variety of things they used to say? Or was it a change made for some reason that they are planning to keep?

I'm hoping it's a bug, since they used to tell you random tidbits about the zones in Paragon City (like "I hear the dead walk the streets in Dark Astoria", even if you clicked a ped in Atlas. It gave you something to look forward to.)

"Chew Electric Death, Snarling Cur!"
Very clearly a bug: happened, undocumented, right after an issue release or major patch. Doesn't happen in COV or didn't last I checked. Plus it's been like this for, what, a year, year and a half now? ANd it's War_Witch's thing, right? I can only guess it broke and she doesn't want to rewrite all the dialogue so leaves it so.

It was documented, and relates to Chimora. The citizens there used to reference things happening in Paragon, some odd centuries into the future. So the two are some how tied together in code, and fixing must be either a big pain, or low on the priority list. I'm thinking both.
Cool! I did not know that the npc name was useful to know!

That's interesting seeing as the villain-side model is zone specific, I wonder why they couldn't use that model. I remember War Witch getting all jazzed about writing the new villain NPC chat for each of the villain zones when CoV was released. Maybe they are busy rewriting the hero side to be zone specific too.

I always check the NPCs with the names starting with "M" right after I hit level 50 and train. Last night I hit level 50 in 111 hours of gameplay.
heh, I checked my namesake last night and had 145 hours with 114 logins - she's 27th. That was neat information to know.
Can't wait to find out what my tank's time in game is.
Imagine the numbers on the toons that have gone 1-50 on AE.
Number of times on patrol: 1
Number of hours played: 3
lol.

But .. but... then they'd have to leave the AE building to find out!

Not too much out of character for them to know about it, considering the contacts there have cell phones. That you can call from the future.
Oh, and the trainer there knows how to instruct me in using my tech armor that hasn't been invented yet.
Just more fuel for the "Nemesis Disneyland" theory
If you click on a npc citizen with a name beginning with an "M" you will get number of hours played on that toon. If you click on a named citizen that starts with an "N" you get the number of times logged in. A named citizen starting with an "E" gives you the real time (GMT). Anybody know of any other named citizens that give information like this? All the others just seem to give random sayings or they say nothing. Was just wondering if anybody else had come across something else.
