Increased Merits for Masters TF/SF

I could see a one-time bonus merit reward for the first time you complete it successfully.

Agreed with the general idea, but it would cause some interpersonal conflicts that are not present now except among the badgers.
The City of Heroes Community is a special one and I will always look fondly on my times arguing, discussing and playing with you all. Thanks and thanks to the developers for a special experience.

That actually sounds like a reasonable idea to me. When you get awarded the MoSTF/LRSF badge, you get 5 merits to go along with it. A nice little bonus for your first Master.
...I forgot what experience means.
The word previously given, is that any bonuses for successful challange type settings, would be countered by a comparable penalty for failing said challange.
5 bonus merits for a successful MSTF (total of 43), would be matched by -5 merits (33) if you tried and failed

I like this idea, with the corollary of a penalty for failing.
I'd be fine with adding a bonus for successfully completing the MoSTF, but I don't like the idea of adding a penalty for failing. I have a hard enough time just successfully completing a normal STF.

I believe that was one of the things Synapse said he would consider when they came out with the last batch of merit changes, altering merit rewards based off of challenge settings.

[/ QUOTE ] I love this idea! But let's take it a step further and allow you to wager merits on multiple challenges.
