Happy Thursday Morning Post

Happy Birthday!
Sorry, no kisses though *grins*

Sorry I've been having a rough morning on a forum that was originally used for our base of operations in Tabula Rasa.
Morning folks, I apologize for not saying it earlier.
[/ QUOTE ]
To put it simply think of it like this: Have you ever entered a place where you knew atleast three of those folks didn't like your company?
I always get that hostile feeling like suddenly I'm behind enemy lines. I say one wrong thing and then it's like Armageddon comes early. So I don't like being in those situations no matter how many times I try to say, "Build yourselves a bridge and get over it.".
Sounds a bit like highschool to me.
Heroes : Angrem (50 Stone tank), Exo Inferis (50 Fire blaster), Exo Proteus (50 ill/emp), IceVengance (50 cold defender)
Villains : AtomBomb (50 Rad/Kin corruptor), Aleks (50 SS/Inv brute), StoneLethal (50 EM/Stone brute), Davroz (50 Bots/Dark mastermind)
It's ok.
*hugs Stryph
then noms on cake above his head.*

Well I always say I'm not quite an adult until I'm 30, married, and a father.

I can dig it, but then.. I'm an apathetic, stubborn pain-in-the-[censored] when it comes to situations like that. I don't really care what people think about me or my opinion - if I really did, I'd ask. If people want to dislike me... that's coo'. I probably don't like them either, especially if they're not going to air grievances in a polite, civil manner to my face.
I don't let anyone come between me and enjoying myself, or talking with people that I consider my friends or associates.
...this is not to say that I'm a wholly unreasonable bint, but I tend to handle situations like that like I would a bar fight. Right hook, BAM!
*come in and heads straight for the hottub* I feel like accomplishing something today! Morning all!
Don't say I'm out of touch with this rampant chaos your reality
Evilly Yours, Fey Bot/Trap MM
Happy Birthday Stryph! For some reason your cake JUST showed up next to your name...and Im too dense to realize it was yours from your earlier post. :P
Hopefully those folks won't be around or will at least be mellow. I guess you draw a boundary for how much you will take and then after that all bets are off. *ignites the flamethrower. :P

I'm much the same, I am who I am and if people don't like that well usually they're not my friends to begin with so their presence is non-existent to me. But I rather come across as an accepting, understandable, and voice of reason-like kind of person.
DO I get a kiss Tarby?
Being rich and power full means I don't have to say I'm sorry

You so silly.
Honestly, I'd rather come across as me. >> Which, often times, is a very nice, civil, even cute person on occasion. Mostly because I'm all about riding the emotional high, and there is NOTHING more fun for me then being around a bunch of happy people. If you're not happy, I will poke at you to find out why, and cheer you up if at all possible. Or help you break it down so you can get to that point where you can join in on the party, too.
No frowns. No sad fase. All smiles. Mandatory smiles, darnit! Or I'll... most likely pout mercilessly. Mercilessly!
:3
Though, I also don't sugar coat the fact that I can be a total [explicitive] on occasion, and frequently revel in the evil, mean, cruel things I do to other people. Because that's how I roll.
I do, however, at least try to make sure all of my intended victims understand that it's not personal, it's just business, and that they fully deserved what they got.

OK Neko..Once Rook gets outta the way its sooo on!! But I do think the Rookery is too small for a mecha-fight of this magnitude.

I am an oddity, personally. I was exceedingly popular in high school, and yet was an apathetic @$$. I was rude, vindictive, and, all things considered , maybe a bit of a bully (true story). However, there were two things that really helped:
1) I was consistent. Everyone knew/knows what I am. It stems from having no hope in humanity. I still don't have any (literally, I'm like the most emo person wrapped up in J. Crew shirts).
2) I never bullied anyone I didn't like. So, I give my friend a huge amount of crap, then take them out and party with the best of em. ^_^
I'm ("Ogres are") like a friggin onion.
Oh, Happy Birthday, Stryph!

Inside or outside?
I was pretty well-liked in high school, one of those people who could get along with everyone, and didn't shun anyone because what's the point? I think I actively disliked only a couple people (stupid skinny, snooty wenches) but was able to get along with them if I had to.

Viv, ya gotta know how to talk to the skinny snoots. If you manipulate them, they do all sorts of.... fun.... stuff.
In your case, it would be the supah-sexy meatheads.
*groans a little and climbs out of Iron Rook's open chest-plate, covered in grease and metal shavings* Good morning people. *winces a bit, popping her back, then smiles, shutting the Rook's chest and sliding down the ladder with her hands on either side*
I'll be in the shower if anyone needs me. *puts her tools away and drops her toolbelt on a workbench*
Oh... And Happy Birthday, Stryph. Many more much happier days to you. *sashays off to go get cleaned up after a long hard -messy- night*
-Rachel-
I was a ghost in high school, despite being active in sports. Most people knew me... but few likely actually remember me. People in my graduating class that I see regularly and remember, don't follow suit.
But, in a similar fashion, I tended to interact well with most people. And even if I didn't like you, I'd be more then willing to talk with you (briefly - it depends on how much I found your company displeasing) or even work with you on a project.
About the only people that really remembered me, were the small handful of folks I talked with on a regular basis, only 2 of which I kept contact with (because we had similar interests and activities). One of which is still my best friend evers, and my home-girl.
For the people I didn't get along with, we had the rare verbal spat. I was usually above wasting my time with that kind of bullhonkery, when I could be working on studying or goofing off instead. You ain't special! You ain't important. No reason to waste the time, effort, or really good insults on people that don't matter. So, I just didn't. The few times it came to almost physical confrontation, I made it very clear that I view fights in exactly two, and only two ways: Practice, and survival. I don't hold back for no one.
The few times I did get into physical confrontations outside of the field hockey field, I tended to end fights swiftly, efficiently, and definatively. Like decking the head cheerleader for talkin' smack about my beaux at the time (stupid me - defending someone that would burn me later; C'est le amore). Never had a problem with her after that, or any of her friends (one week's detention, and being politely asked not to try out next year; I shrugged and went off to field hockey instead).
Everyone I hang out with regularly now, I feel the same way as I do all of my close friends (or +1 awesome acquaintences). Everyone else in the world? I'm a ghost. Maybe a smart, quiet ghost, if they remember anything at all.

I was already dating my husband during that time, so no fun for me.
As for the meatheads at my school...meh, nice to look at but nothing going on upstairs.
Believe me, I'll be super happy when I goto get this Mobo/CPU replaced and hopefully get to play again!
I was fat in high school.
I lost all the weight between graduating and our 5 year reunion.
Sooo fun when noone knows who you are, and all the lookieloos =^.^=
As for high school itself. Meh, don't want to talk about it.
I knew a girl like that in HS who left one year and came back super tall and skinny. It can definitely be a shocker to the eyes.

Morning folks.
