[/ QUOTE ]That's what has me so stoked. I've wanted a commission from Ed Benes since I began collecting, but he just isn't doing them. Maybe at a Con, but not the way we traditionally pursue them. This is the next best thing. Now if I can just get some that look like the work of Frank Cho, Adam Hughes, Jim Lee, . . . .

I just discovered this guy a couple of weeks ago. He has been working with Ed Benes and is part of a studio with lots of great artists. I can definitely see the Benes influence, and I'm in love with his work. This just turned out sensationally good.

Definitely some well drawn arts there... but isn't the busty babes angle overplayed just a bit? I mean, seriously.

His work may very well be in a DC book but just credited to Benes. That's been the case for Deodato's stuff as well. Benes/Deodato would have studio artists/apprentices do the background/sketch lines, but then Benes/Deodato would take the framework and fill in the details, stylizing the entire page and making it their own. Nice piece though with clean details. The one thing I notice though about all the folks who work in the Benes' studios is that the figures don't seem to have a whole lot of life/flow n their poses and I feel that the emotion/personality/expressions doesn't get seen as much.
Beautiful--I just love linework like that. Congrats on finding this artist, I will be watching him now.
