Actually, having multiple copies of both manuals, I found the CoH manual a smidge lighter, and the CoV manual gave a little more background then the blueside offered.
That being said, all that remains of any 'manual' in the latest boxes on the market (GvE & MA) is a foldout Default Key Map. I don't think manuals will ever make a full return to PC gaming except for a fex somewhat complex titles here and there.

It does come with a nice double sided map of ParagonCity/ Rogue Isles. Not that useful for vetrans, but it is a nice way for newer players to see which zones border on each other

Just a note, the Magic Bolero in the Magic Pack is incompatible with High Collar capes, or any other back costume option (capes, wings).

You may encounter some people with both but it was a bug. Those costumes choices can no longer be selected. The players that have them can't ever change those costumes or they will be lost.
