Broken Steel was a let down. All they gave were miniguns and flame throwers, that's cool and all but at least the Pit took a gun like the Assault Rifle and put a silence and scope on it (Perforator preferred mind you) to make it one badass weapon.

All I need is the hunting rifle and sneak....and the chinese stealth suit was just icing. I literally have thousands of rounds of ammo....I just headshot everyone out of stealth. Its amazing how far out you can hit someone with the hunting rifle or scoped .44 without using VATS. (the sniper rifle is junk...sprays like a smg at range, I just keep it for the scope)

Though the infiltrator is sweet. I still have 5k rounds to go (Im on 360 though). Sneaking up on people and putting the autoaxe in their back is sweet too.

What's GMFBBC means?

I thought it was something along the lines of lingerie but alas Google turned up nothing.

There is supposed to be some kind of tri-laser rifle around in Broken Steel, have not found it yet though. Overall, I liked that Broken Steel continued the story and let's you make some headway against the threats in the wastes. But of the three the Pitt was probably the best with Operation Anchorage WAY back in dead last.

Yes zoom, it's always at least this silly and usually much worse. Sometimes there are theme days like Rookery on the Orient Express and Pulp Hero Rookery... those days are exceedingly silly.

Morning Ghost.

Heroes : Angrem (50 Stone tank), Exo Inferis (50 Fire blaster), Exo Proteus (50 ill/emp), IceVengance (50 cold defender)
Villains : AtomBomb (50 Rad/Kin corruptor), Aleks (50 SS/Inv brute), StoneLethal (50 EM/Stone brute), Davroz (50 Bots/Dark mastermind)

Chinese suit is pretty awesome indeed. Running around with that suit and a Shish kabob! Or Chinese Sword while playing this. xD

Spoiler: It also had an update for users not with Broken Steel to end the story utilizing the three characters you can have tag along with you to sacrifice themselves.

Heh. A lot of Fallout 3 fans in here I see. I just got it last weekend, and I so kick myself for dragging my feet so long. I don't tend to play a lot of single player games, because I'll drop $50 on one, play it for a while, then get distracted with MMOs again and it sits there half played.

I finally broke down and bought it though, and OMG, so glad. It's so much fun just exploring the wastes and looting goodies. I messed around with several characters and a bunch of mods (love games that let you use extensive modding. I want to play with GECK soon.) This weekend I sat down and started a 'serious' play time character, focusing on being a small arms VATS marksman and frontier lawman. And then playing around a bit with a melee focused character. Who ran into a patrol of 3 Outcast Brotherhood guys outside of Megaton. I was shocked to see them there. Then I proceeded to beat the snot out of them with a pair of spiked knuckles, and swiped their power armor and lasers. Goooo martial arts!

SG Mate: Cien, what the hell is this Rookery thing?
RadDidIt: (interjecting) Dude. It's the Rookery.
SG Mate: Yeah, but what IS it?
RadDidIt: Silliness Incarnate.

It just annoys me how Bethesda didn't go with iron sights. I suppose they were worried that it would put points to no use because players would use iron sights all the time.

Over all, as a new fan of the Fallout franchise; I enjoyed it. Definitely a Oblivion with Guns with good reason.

I never played Oblivion or the previous Fallout games before, though after playing FO3, I plan on picking them up at some future date. I have heard a lot of fans of the previous Fallout games hated 3 because it was different... But seriously, how can you hate such an excellent game if you like the concept. Just because it's not a 2.5D adventure game like the first two? C'mon.. Love it for what it is.

Well for knowledge purposes sure go with the original Fallout and Fallout 2 but doing some research myself before Fallout 3, they're not much alike besides storyline.

However, Oblivion is BEAUTIFUL!

Fallout 1 and 2 are totally different games play-wise, but are still awesome and fun. The interface is clunky, the graphics are dated, but the story and jokes are great.

Also HI!

I have thinking of getting Fallout 3 for my PC.

Thinking that is. I enjoyed Oblivion, but got bored as it was mostly melee and I have lost my taste for fantasy stuff..

*POUNCES on the Becky kitteh and begins a mighty tussle.*

Yeah the old ending in Fallout 3 never made sense, some of your henchmen are perfectly SAFE in a situation that will get you killed. Of course you send them instead.
